Holiday rentals with a patio in Rarotonga

What a briliant start to a long awaited Cook Island adventure (after a hectic departure - almost didnt make it thanks to airline mess up) Simon picked us up from the airport and then filled us in on the drive to the accommodation, stopping and pointing out places to eat, beach acccess points and heaps more. We d3cided to rent a car for one day as we were only on Raro for 3 and that was a great idea being able to take back roads, stop and start at whim and just feel we got a better sense of the place. We're off to Aitutaki now but will definitely be returning to Rarotonga in the future. Simon and Denise were great hosts...there if you needed with lots of help and hints but certainly left us alone if we were happy. Thanks for a brilliant first impression...they always stick. We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful piece of paradise. Everything in the studio was very intuitive with everything needed easily accessible. The house was clean and the kitchen was well supplied with appliances etc for cooking. The area was quiet and away from more crowded areas of the island. We enjoyed the easy 10 minute walk down to the beach and local store & resturant in Kavera. Snorkelling off the beach in nearby Aroa was stunning and very calm. Maire was very friendly & so helpful, it was lovely to meet her and hear more about the island.

This accommodation is in a fantastic location in Muri, set against a lush green mountain backdrop with pigs, chickens, and a rooster adding to the charm. Outside my villa there were workers cutting down two coconut trees, one worker offered to cut open a coconut. What a great local experience. Muri Beach is just across the road, with free use of sun loungers. It’s also very close to the night market and local shops. The villa is brand new, well-equipped with kitchen supplies, offers free Wi-Fi and air conditioning. The owners communicated promptly and were very helpful. A truly unforgettable moment happened at the airport—I met the owner, who is also a pilot, and he invited me to sit in the jump seat during the flight to Aitutaki. Watching the landing from the cockpit was a magical and memorable experience, and the highlight of my holiday in the Cook Islands. Thank you!

Lovely stay in penthouse. Beautiful views and short walk to peaceful beach with loungers. As mentioned in the description, there is a nightly ‘dog chorus’ but that’s not controllable as they seem to be scattered around the island. Overall I would definitely recommend this place- the grounds are well-cared for and the amenities, view and location are fabulous

Just came back from Raro with my husband and teen daughter. Tara's place was exactly as described, beautiful surroundings, a short walk from the beach, bars, convenience store and night market. The unit offered 2 ensuite bedrooms which was perfect for my daughter. The views are splendid. We used the pool a few times and it was a nice place to chill after coming from the beach or a day out. The place offered everything we needed and Tara was very generous allowing us to check in a bit earlier. Great communication, simple instructions, all you need when you go to a new place where you are not familiar with anything. She also organised our transfers to/fro airport and made our stay a breeze. The car was a great plus and allowed us to come and go freely. Communication with Joy was also amazing during our stay, checking in with us if we needed anything. Highly recommend Tara's place. It made our stay a breeze, like the overall vibe of Raro. Thanks Tara, we'll come back soon :)

Highly recommended!!! The home is beautiful with everything as listed. Private location waking up everyday to a beautiful view of the mountainside, with beach access just across the road. This place was perfect for our young family of four with 2 kids under five as there is a big yard with chickens where kids can run around. We enjoyed our stay here, Matanoanoa is a fantastic host who would check in on us making sure we had what we needed, from time to time. Would love to come back ❤️

We LOVE staying here - This is our second time! And we will stay again next time we are in Rarotonga. The pictures are exactly what you get. Tia is very responsive and helpful. We had the best stay at James’ place. He and his family made us feel welcome and were especially good with our 1 year old son who loved playing with the dogs, cats and chickens. Would recommend staying here to anyone. We thought Aroa was the best part of the island. Great snorkelling at the beach a minutes walk away too. 5 stars from us!

We had the most amazing time at Starboard which was pure paradise. From the moment we arrived, the stunning ocean views took our breath away, and the villa itself was better than the photos. The infinity pool was our daily retreat, we couldn't get enough of it. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to cook meals, and the complimentary coffee, fruit, and fresh bread were great touches. Waking up to the sunrise over the ocean each morning was a highlight. While the beach in front of the villa is more for sunbaking than swimming, the pool more than made up for it. Muri Beach is also just a short drive away and perfect for swimming. Having the car included was amazing. It made exploring the island, going to dinners, and doing day tours really easy. Our host Anita went above and beyond to assist us during our stay (including meeting us at the airport on the final day to collect the car) - the epitome of a super host. Don’t hesitate - book now!

I booked this property for my dad & his two friends to celebrate his retirement. They intended to go to Rarotonga to relax, snorkel, do some fishing & sightseeing around the island. His words “My review of Puretu's Beachfront House 4- a truly idyllic setting. Any closer and you would be in the water. Central to all things Rarotongan. Charlies is walking distance Muri market 2 mins and the best snorkeling is off the deck. Comfortable practical house has all the basics. We'll be back Elizabeth thankyou so much🎣🏌️‍♀️🍻”

We enjoyed our stay in Rarotonga at Addrienne's Air bnb. Firstly was greeted by Tama at the airport and we followed him back to the house. So was a smooth checkin. It was very peaceful, beautiful scenery over looking the airport and ocean. Rooms were very spacious, big kitchen, out door area was great and the pool.was a bonus with the hot and humid weather. Bambam and Evie were such beautiful dogs and were very placid and enjoyed the company. They would always greet you in the morning or when you return home. Overall we all had a fantastic stay and definetly would recommend it.

Joseph and Odette were warm and hospitable. Their place was clean and they were reachable at any point if we needed anything. Gracious hosts, highly recommend.

10/10 loved our stay here. Perfect for our large family. Very spacious, peaceful and fun! Fenced pool for peace of mind with little ones. Fiona and her husband were super responsive when we needed some help. Lovely, kind people. Would stay here again. Highly recommend. Perfect spot for snorkelling 5 mins up the road. Indoor/ outdoor flow, just surperb!
