Also you climb the stairs in the buliding .

At the gates of the Medina, easy access and a restaurant for breakfast at your doorstep. The local market in front where they sell bread olives and much more, with a terrace overlooking the mountain, and above all, your host will be better than you can imagine: an admirable young woman, with a lot of knowledge of history, a perfect English (and several more languages). In the house you find literature left by other travelers, and some paintings that she makes in her spare time. It is a personal and welcoming experience. The room with windows is beautiful! Perfect for waking up early when the market starts. You feel completely at home. Bouchra has the best recommendations and tips and really has the info that nobody tells you. For us it has been a blessing to fall into this special space. The bathroom is shared but always available and perfectly clean. The place is nicely cared for 🙏🧚🏾‍♀️

Today, I had an incredible Medina tour in Fes, Morocco — and it exceeded all expectations. Even though we booked last-minute, the guide was super flexible and adjusted the schedule perfectly. Abi, our guide, brought the city’s rich history to life with detailed explanations and just the right touch of humor, so there was never a dull moment. After the tour, he even arranged a taxi for us and shared tons of helpful local tips. Honestly, we were initially a bit nervous about Fes, but meeting Abi changed everything — he made the city feel warm, safe, and fascinating. Don’t hesitate — if you’re in Fes, this tour is an absolute must!
