We are located within a 10 minute drive from 3 -Frio River Public Accesses & popular Garner State Park, as well as only 15 miles on FM 337 to Vanderpool & Lost Maples State Park; however, the “Ranch House” is in a peaceful setting, which draws wildlife from the mountains & pastures to our feeding station, where they are fed daily & drink from the creek which flows near the house, as well as water troughs, when the creek is dry. Our 1300 acres is the perfect setting for a peaceful stay for all.

The cottage is a bunk house with privacy nooks and a great space for family fun. This setting is amazing for reconnecting with family. If you are looking for a peaceful weekend, this is your spot. You won't see many cars pass by on Ranch Road 336. You will see deer, cattle, birds and other wildlife. Star gazing at night is a treat! The property is 18 miles north of Leakey, so it is easy to get to the Frio River and find good places to eat or drive to one of the state parks nearby. Garner State Park and Los Maples are fun day trips.

Carmel in the Sky | 3BR Hilltop w/ Hot Tub & Views

You will never find a better view! Absolutely beautiful location, It’s remote but still close to town. It’s peaceful, and the stars at night are unbelievable! Close to both Garner State Park and lost maples. Overlooks a private 1000 acre ranch. The home was clean as described. Wi-Fi signal is good. Beds are comfortable, shower is hot, and there is a nice hot tub. The property manager had quick and great response. Access might be a little difficult for low riding cars or street motorcycles, and be extra cautious if you have a trailer at the entry gate as it’s a winding road around this property. We would definitely stay here again!

Vera and her Dad Mark were wonderful. Mark was very attentive and made sure we were able to find the house, made sure we know the best places to get in the river, and guided us to different local restaurants and float locations. I will definitely be staying here again. It was great!

This place was the perfect for my big family, with plenty of space plus the walk to the water was a nice distance to not feel overwhelmed from a long walk. the staircase to get into the water could use more railing to feel safer going in and out of the water but not unsafe & very secure. other then that I would say we had an amazing time! Definitely a rebook!

Rio Bella Resort is a really great place to go and relax. The accommodations are wonderful - very spacious, well-decorated, super clean and great access to the Frio. All of the staff is very friendly...especially the resort cat Baylee!

We really enjoyed our stay! Very easy to find. Make sure to stop in Uvalde or a larger town if local to Texas and get your groceries on the way in. Not much in town itself so plan ahead! The golf cart is an absolute must. The river is gorgeous here and you have endless river front for your own enjoyment to put up chairs or just sit down. The house was so very cute. Has all the things you need! For those traveling here, leave your work computers at home. The wifi is good for the tv and to check your phone, outside of that it’s SOS. Enjoy the time with your friends and families. The back patio and grill setup was great and we loved all the air plants hanging out in the trees and on the ground. We will def revisit when we have another couple able to come!

Very responsive to all of our questions and concerns. There was never a delay in having our questions responded to. They put a lot of care and concern into the way that the house looks, nicely decorated and you can tell they care a lot about their space. If you have interest in the paranormal, you will enjoy this place.
