Rowan Lodge

SteveRating, 5 stars12 months ago
Stayed for 7 days from 18th June 2024. The property is in the most beautiful location. The place is impeccably clean. The place has been decorated to match it's outside environment. Has all the mod cons including a Ninja air fryer and a recliner sofa. I would 10/10 recommend, but I wouldn't arrive without a car or hire car - ok if your a keen hiker but if your there to explore the likes of Loch Ness - you need transport. I wish i could include screen shots of trying to find a bus route, they seem to be non existent or twice a day. (from what we could work out) We tried to get a cab to pick us up and return from Inverness (as England euro game) and they didn't want to know as so remote - but that's not the property's fault. Again not the property fault - it's because of near loch's etc - you will get bitten to death because of the midge fly - so come prepared. Other than that it's beautiful but come prepared

Back-to-Nature Eco Retreat

VictoriaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This getaway, has been by far our favourite. we was hoping to escape our busy work lives, and connect with nature, this was delivered beautifully. the cabin offers, a peaceful, tranquil, retreat with an opportunity to explore woodlands and beaches. feel very grounded, and looking forward to returning. enjoyed the books and games that were on offer, the binoculars offered a chance to relax and see the beautiful wildlife that surrounds the cabin. the hamper was lovely, with locally sourced items. the log burner looked very inviting, although it was warm weather meant we didn't need to use it. the stillness and quietness surrounding the cabin was luxurious. although when we did have days out, the main road was minutes away. we enjoyed visiting Loch catrina, fairy glen, Rosemarkie beach, dornoch beach, evanton woods/black rock gorge and a wee pit stop to pipers cafe in tain. just fabulous. congratulations Katy and Jay for providing the opportunity to relax and enjoy the now

One bedroom Flat in Dingwall

CarineRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Cozy flat with everything needed for a few days. Good bed, good shower. Squeaky clean. Quiet location just 5 minutes from town. Lovely walk just down the road along the river and the beach (always nice to see oyster catchers, sandmartins and merganser ducks). Murray and Samanta's instructions were very clear and they were quick to respond. We would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable home, 3 double bedrooms each en-suite.

We were extremely happy to have booked this place. Its right at the centre of Invergordon which is a pretty village and is close to Inverness by 30 mins. The house was very clean. The hall and kitchen are compact but the bedrooms are spacious and comfy with all amenities. Each bedroom has a bathroom which was huge flex when 5 people have to get ready in the morning. We were very happy to have booked this place. Also, please do try a bubble waffle with icecream from the dessert shop behind
