How to create offerings that stand out
Think of your offerings as the menu items guests can buy from you. You’ll give each offering a name, description, photo and price to help distinguish what you provide.
Giving guests choices
Add at least one offering. The best practice is to set up 3 offerings at a range of prices – entry, standard and premium – to give guests more options and help meet your earnings goals.
Your prices should reflect the format, complexity and uniqueness of each offering. For example, a photographer in the US could provide a half-hour session that costs less than $50 USD, a personalised portrait session that costs between $50 USD and $150 USD, and a family session that costs more than $150 USD.
Guests looking for services on Airbnb will see your lowest price in search results. An entry offering can help attract first-time guests and generate interest in your other offerings.
Consider giving guests different times and locations to choose from as well. For example, a chef might provide an organic breakfast, farmers market lunch and 3-course dinner, and an aesthetician could offer facials at their own spa and at the guest’s home.
Adding offerings
Each offering includes a title, description and photo.
- Title: Label your offering in a few words with specific, easy-to-understand language.
- Description: Begin with a concise, compelling description of what’s included. Highlight certain ingredients, techniques, equipment or materials that make the offering special. Be as specific as possible to help your offering stand out.
- Photo: Select an image you’ve already uploaded or add a new one. Focus on one detail or person, with a plain background.
All hosts, photos and listing details must meet the standards and requirements for Airbnb Services.
If you provide a massage or spa service, you’ll select photos from a library of pre-approved professional photos that illustrate these services.
