The EyerHof - the special vacation home in the Palatinate

The EyerHof - owned by the Eyer family for three generations - is a farmhouse over 120 years old that was completely renovated from 2019 - 2022 and now combines the special charm of a farmhouse with modern industrial style. Next to the terrace, courtyard and garden there is a barbecue station with a large new Rösle gas grill & the barn which can be used as a cozy lounge. The interior of the house combines timber-framed construction with modern iron, wood, sandstone, clay walls and old with new 🖤

Combining authenticity with modern comfort it invites you for a unique and ecologically responsible experience (natural materials, low energy consumption). Just suit yourselves: intimate chilling at the wood stove, or rather active w/ brisk walks, cycling or otherwise discovering our Ardennes. All commodities within walking distance (< 1,5 km) including the Ravel cycling network. Swimming in the lake in agreement with the owner.

The open studio apartment in the gatehouse is part of an extended courtyard from the 17th century. century. Old woods and exposed half-timbering are surrounded by rose bushes and a beautiful garden. When furnishing, we placed great emphasis on sustainability. Existing things were rebuilt and reworked. Most of the lights, textiles and pictures come from our studio. This gives the open architecture its special style as well as its friendly and unique character.

The newly renovated 125 m² apartment not only impresses with its unique location directly on the Fulda in the North Hessian mountains. In the 400-year-old mill, this apartment was furnished with a lot of love. It has a modern open kitchen with adjoining living area, where a fireplace provides a pleasant atmosphere. 'IN THE STABLE' is located on the ground floor of the barn of the mill property. It used to be a stable.(Also check out my other apartment 'Barn Loft.') The room has low ceilings and small lattice windows. The room is suitable for people looking for a more cave-like, cozy retreat. Due to the oven and the cold floor, the apartment is not suitable for infants. In the cold season, it may be necessary to heat with the oven. See below.

The old barn was renovated in early 2018 with tradition and modernity. An ideal stop for a tourist stay in Alsace. Two comfortable bedrooms and a sofa bed allow us to accommodate up to 6 people. To relax, a sauna and family pool are available. Osthoffen is a wine village located on the outskirts of Strasbourg. 15 minutes is enough to get to the city center or the airport.
