Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Richland County

I loved Hidden Hollow! It was so serene and quiet. I was new to Airbnb so I had a lot of questions for Kim, the host. He was extremely responsive to all my inquiries. The kitchen was amazingly well-stocked. Bedding was generous and clean. I was amazed at the variety of books, magazines, games, puzzles, coloring books, and playing cards. Wi-Fi worked consistently. Having access to the washer and dryer came in handy. Kim thought of all the details! One detail I really enjoyed was watching the birds at the busy bird feeder which was just outside the living room window. I also loved hearing the clip-clop of Amish buggies as they (very occasionally) drove past the house. I really can't recommend this place highly enough!

As someone who grew up very close to this Airbnb, it was really nice to be able to come back and stay in the peaceful quiet that I remember from growing up in the valley. The place was gorgeous and it was perfectly situated where we needed it to be. The house was very clean and the directions for check-in and check out were very clear. Therese was also an amazing host and got back to me very quickly anytime I sent her a message. We will absolutely stay here again.

We were really impressed with the home. It was clean, comfortable and well appointed—it had absolutely everything we needed plus lots of thoughtful touches. But the outdoor space was particularly wonderful. The location is secluded and serene and there is a very nice patio area in which to enjoy the lovely surroundings and the birdsong.

What an amazing stay at Twin Pines! As Wyoming natives now living in the Chicagoland area, we’ve seen a lot—but nothing could’ve prepared us for Shelia’s next-level hospitality. The farmhouse was cozy, full of charm, and stocked with every comfort (and craving!) you could possibly imagine. If it could be eaten, sipped, or savored, Shelia had it covered! THANK YOU!! We spent our days exploring parks, fishing like pros (or trying to), and cruising scenic drives while asking ourselves, Are we really still in Wisconsin? Thank you, Shelia, for making us feel so welcome and for thinking of everything before we even knew we needed it. We'll be talking about this stay for a long time, and yes, we’re already planning our return! 🫶🏻🥰

My sisters and I had a wonderful time here! The river view was absolutely mesmerizing. We kayaked, fished, and did a lot of cooking. The beds were very comfortable — we all slept great during our stay. Check-in was easy, and there was firewood available for us to use. We enjoyed the games and the peaceful atmosphere. It was a 10/10 experience, and we’d love to come back again!

Beautiful HUGE property, lots of trails to explore and very peaceful with lots of wildlife and privacy. Home was gorgeous and very comfortable, they provided tons of amenities and a binder with recommendations. My phone service was SOS, they have strong Wi-Fi but was nice to disconnect for awhile. Highly recommend staying here for a get away. Also close to Eagle Cave with tours to explore!

We had a fabulous stay at Mary's place in mid-October. The views of the hills and fall color were simply stunning. The home is conveniently close to town and the nearby winery, making it easy to run short errands and get to things to do, but the location of the lot itself is very quiet and private feeling. The house is very clean and we felt like we had everything we needed! Love all the games in the loft.

My girlfriends and I enjoyed an early spring weekend getaway at Little Willow, birdwatching during the day and sitting around the firepit at night. Very relaxing and cozy.

We reserved both units for my family. They were both amazing comfortable with lots of personal touches that made us feel right at home. Both great size with three bedrooms. Super clean, comfortable and with everything needed to cook. Outside is so peaceful that we never even turned on the TV…we just sat outside, listening to the birds and enjoying the beautiful surroundings. It’s a short drive to HOTR and Taliesin in Spring Green . Great communication with hosts who responded quickly and were so friendly. Our group highly recommends and look forward to our next visit! Thanks so much, Bill and Darcy… we will be back!!

There were four of us and we were all so happy with our stay! We never even turned on the TV (though it was nice size) …we spent evenings on the patio relishing the nature and all the birdsong... made lots of great memories talking about our days and resting our weary bones from all the walking! Super comfortable and welcoming … lots of personal touches and had everything we needed to cook and eat in comfortably. we had two folks in each unit, but could easily have had 4–5 in each. Place is close to Spring Green for attractions Taliesin and HOTR) and got to enjoy the scenic short ride there. we felt right at home..,great amenities, large bathroom, bed was amazingly comfortable. Everything was super clean and we can’t say enough about how kind and responsive the hosts are. Thank you, Bill and Darcy for letting us enjoy this slice of heaven! We will definitely be back!

Really easy to get in and out. Close to everything that I wanted. Really quiet.

My husband and I wanted to get away and relax and this place was wonderful. We enjoyed just staying on the beautiful premises though we did do hiking and exploring nearby. We cooked a few of our meals so we could stay and enjoy the quiet and the sound of nature and watching all the birds and wildlife. We enjoyed the fire pit at night and enjoyed the sky and lightning bugs. Teresa made sure we had wood and we found everything we would need in the kitchen to have our meals. The State Park was also beautiful and so close. We had never been to this part of the State and will definitely be back and would stay with Teresa again. She truly provided everything anyone would need to enjoy their time away. Truly a Haven as described!

Very homey, nice location, CLEAN!!

This cabin is one of the best we have stayed. plenty of room to move about, clean running water, just the right amenities needed. The views outside the cabin was beautiful every direction. Loved the little extras this cabin offered. This cabin would be great any season as it is set up for your comfort. When the sun goes down, the porch lights come on giving such warm invitation to stay out a little longer. We enjoyed hiking close by forests too and stopped at a local ice cream shop. Loved our stay and would do it again!

Love the cabin. It’s a cool nice place to stay and hang out with family. Barbara is a nice host. She replies super fast and communicates clearly. It would be great if the instructions for checking can be automatically revealed after booking.

We had a wonderful stay at Jennifer’s place. It is truly a special spot; private with beautiful Driftless scenery. The beds were comfy, kitchen was functional, and the hot tub and outdoor shower were perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking. We had a lovely time watching the deer and junior woodchucks, and listening to the birds: so many birds up here on the hill! Would love to stay here again.

This is our second visit to DPC! We love it here! The cabin is immaculate and amenities are great! The guidebook was amazing and our girls trip was fantastic in big part because of this place! Hosts are amazing! Definitely a hidden gem!!

This was a relaxing place to spend an unplugged weekend. Clean and relaxing even on the hottest weekend of the summer so far.

Quaint little cabin in the woods. Not much around, but was a dollar store nearby for any needed items. Snacks, coffee maker, and basic items in fridge were a nice touch. Host provided us with a bundle of wood which allowed us to have smores in the fire pit in the yard outside. Inside electric fireplace was nice too.

Me and my family had an amazing time it was beautiful the house was everything it’s shown to be it’s extremely clean and peaceful the view is amazing and completely breathtaking and the host are wonderful and extremely friendly and helpful always easy to reach and quick to respond

A Perfect Romantic Getaway at Spring Hill Cabin Spring Hill Cabin is an absolute gem—a truly romantic escape nestled in the breathtaking Driftless Area. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning nature views, framed perfectly by the cabin’s large windows that bring the outdoors in. The serene pond view, the gentle sounds of the nearby stream, and the delightful presence of birds and squirrels created an atmosphere of pure tranquility. It was the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature. Beyond the cabin, we took the opportunity to visit the renowned American Players Theatre, where we enjoyed a mesmerizing performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream under an almost full moon—an unforgettable experience. We also stopped by Driftless Café in Viroqua, a fantastic farm-to-table restaurant that showcases the best of local flavors. Spring Hill Cabin exceeded all expectations, offering both comfort and charm in an idyllic setting. We will absolutely be back!
