The Chef’s Shed - a farm stay

Situated in "cool country" Trentham, the Chef’s Shed was originally built in 1860, and has been lovingly transformed into a cosy, spacious and unique place to stay. It has quirky living spaces, including a loft, and wide, stunning views over the land around, even from the private sauna which can be used for a modest fee. From here you can explore the region. We are surrounded by nature, and a few minutes from The Falls and historic Trentham with cafes, pubs, walking tracks and a lot of history.

The cottage is perfect for a Romantic getaway. The cottage is set on 75 acres and is part of a small regenerative farm in the Macedon Ranges area. Self checkin please note the cottage is located close to the main house and you can expect farm noises. We are close to many wineries and local attractions.. We are only an hour to Melbourne making this the perfect weekend escape. Included in the price is farm fresh eggs. Plus a bottle of our Petillant Natural Sparkling wine for 2 nights or more

Comfortable, clean, cosy, peaceful and self-contained one room studio/cabin. Riddells Creek is a quiet small town in lovely surrounding countryside and views of the Macedon Ranges. Close to well-known tourist areas. PLEASE NOTE: I have set a 2 night minimum stay and this is what i prefer. However in special circumstances i will consider a 1 night booking if necessary, for some reason - send me a message to discuss it.

Circa 1860 is one of Woodend's earliest heritage homes. Lovingly renovated, it retains the warmth and charm of its old world features, but with the comfort of modern amenities. Just a 5 minute walk away is the quaint town of Woodend complete with cafes, restaurants, shops and the acclaimed Holgate Brewery, or venture a bit further afield and experience the Macedon Ranges or the many wineries in the region.
