House holiday rentals in Rideau Canal

This was the perfect addition to my wedding weekend! Julie made it extra special with a welcome sign and bottle of champagne to great my guests and I! The place is absolutely stunning, so warm, cozy and just what we needed for a wedding stay with the bridal party. It surpassed my expectations and Julie and her partner were wonderful - we even had a tour and learned some history on the place. Can’t wait to come back !

Great stay, nicely renovated place. Quiet street, nice neighbourhood, kids biked to the park just down the street daily. pool was amazing, linens, pillows, beds super clean and comfy. Kitchen well equipped. Felt at home

I had a fantastic stay at Scott's Airbnb! He was incredibly helpful and responsive, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. When we had an issue with the pool lights in the evening, Scott promptly came over to assist, which we greatly appreciated. His communication and dedication made our experience truly enjoyable. I would highly recommend staying with Scott and would definitely book again!

La maison était très belle et l’environnement très tranquille. Tout est bien équipé et bien aménagé. La seule petite chose qui nous a un peu déplu était qu’il y avait des cheveux/poils dans un des lits à notre arrivée. La vaisselle aussi était parfois sale, mais je crois que c’est la responsabilité des anciens locataires. L’emplacement est super, près des commodités.

Our family complely enjoyed Erin's generously sized house. The indoor pool was one of the amenities that really drew us, and it didnt disappoint! Beautiful, warm, clean and the entire pool area was welcoming and comfortable. Besides that there are so many other activites; these are shown accurately in the photos. The adults enjoyed the pool table area very much in the evenings. Though we never got to using the home theatre, it was a very unique and appealing space. In general all was in good repair in this home. We loved the comfy beds and pristine linen. The kitchen was well thought out and very organized, with plenty of pots, dishes, glasses soap etc. This was a great locating to bring the family together. We would love to return again!

We stayed in this place for 7 nights, to attend a conference in Ottawa and to do some sightseeing in Ottawa and in Gatineau Park. The place was easy to find and completely matched the description. Don't get fooled by the (private entrance) door which looks a bit old - everything on the inside seems brand new! The bed was comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and there was a deck to sit outside and enjoy the (big!) backyard. Transport to Ottawa was straightforward, by bus and train (hardly any waiting time). The Gatineau Park was a 20 min drive, though a little more in rush hour :-). And the hosts were very friendly and helpful! This is a good opportunity to stay in a big city and still experience a very quiet neighborhood.

Choice location with plenty of space and a modern feel

clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was convenient, and the space worked well for our family. I hope my baby’s running and playing didn’t cause any disturbance to the downstairs neighbours.

amazing stay, great host and very nice place

This cabin was an absolute dream for our mothers' first visit to Canada! We were looking for something special, and this place exceeded all expectations. The location was ideal – a perfect blend of natural beauty and proximity to the city. What truly amazed us was how much more beautiful it was in person compared to the already great photos. The serene lake view, the perfectly stocked kitchen, and the immaculate cleanliness all contributed to an unforgettable stay. You can feel the warmth and care in every detail. The hosts were also fantastic, with quick and kind communication. They even helped us retrieve keys we'd accidentally left behind! We can't wait to return and highly recommend this incredible retreat.

Karen's place was great. The location is the perfect distance to downtown and the Parliament Building. Very easy access to the highway if you are traveling away from the city center.

My friends and I had a fantastic stay in Kareem’s home. The house was clean, easy to find and in a quiet peaceful location. There were plenty of places to eat and explore while we were in the area. Thank you again for hosting our 30th bday bash spot! We had a great weekend.

Our group of 5 women absolutely LOVED this home. It fit our needs perfectly - comfort, space, location... Although Zed unexpectedly had to be away, she left us with Todd, a perfect substitute to make sure all of our wants were fulfilled. The home was extremely comfortable and in a great location to walk to restaurants, sight see,and to just relax. Sitting in the living room and looking out the huge picture windows was like looking at a living movie, with the beautiful active park and river across the street. We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed staying here!

Sneha and Paul were two of the best hosts we have worked with through Airbnb. Their location was beautiful, comfortable and in such a wonderful location. Sneha and Paul were very responsive and accommodating. Would definitely visit again when in Ottawa! Thanks for the wonderful stay.

Jacob's place was exactly as described. Very good value. Beautiful quiet neighborhood. Spacious room, lots of natural light, very clean, very comfortable bed, lots of nice touches like tea, coffee, cereal, almond milk, etc. He was easy to communicate with. I would happily return to this listing in the future.

Some places are just houses. Others hold space and pause. From the first moment we walked in, "The River Retreat" welcomed us like a warm hug. My siblings and I came here to honour the one-year anniversary of our mother’s passing, and it ended up being exactly what we needed. Peaceful, cozy, and full of thoughtful touches. Every room, view, and amenity gave us a chance to breathe, reflect, and spend quality family time together. We tried all the amenities, including the hot tub, canoe, kayaks, fire pit, and pool table. But our favourite pass time and location was definitely the home cooked meals around the round table overlooking the river. We left feeling full in every sense. Thank you Marlene and Morgan for being such fantastic hosts! We’ll absolutely be back.

Marc was very responsive, and absolutely loved our stay. The place was very clean, and had all the essentials we needed, such as dishes, coffee, washer & dryer, and others. The king size mattress in the master bedroom was extremely comfortable, and with having a bad back, I didn’t wake up with any pain. The large dinning room window allowed for a pleasant view of the Cummings Bridge over the Rideau River, and the living room had a very comfortable couch, allowing us to relax after long days of activities. This was by far one of the best places we’ve stayed at, and would hope it’s available again if we make it back to Ottawa.
