This is our beloved home, and many guests tell us they fall in love with it too. Few places blend comfort and wilderness like this. We never tire of it—and hope you will, too.

Ladd batteriene på dette unike og rolige overnattingsstedet. 25 minutters kjøretur fra Tromsø, en liten bygd som heter Skulsfjord finner du dette koselige lille huset helt ved sjøen. Fantastisk utsikt og ett rolig området der man kan nyte idylliske fjell og naturomgivelser. Nordlys sesongen er fra September til April. Er det klarvær vil det danse på himmelen direkte fra stuevinduet. Mange unike turmål til fots og ved båt som verten kan informere om ved behov og har kart tilgjengelig i huset.

Enjoy Hurtigruta sailing in from the sofacorner and hear waves lapping outside. The entrance is part of a glazed terrace with views to the south. The center is a 10-minute walk away. The apartment is open, inviting, and a nice & comfortable place to spend your time. Age limit to rent: minimum 25 years. NO SMOKING OF ANY KIND.

Beautiful and rustic house by the sea in the countryside 1 hrs drive from the city of Tromsø. The area is great for hiking, skiing, fishing with the midnight sun in the summer and aurora borealis during winter. Included in your stay there is a woodfired sauna placed by the sea with a fireplace and a cosy indoor chill-zone with a charge of NOK 250,- per sac of firewood used to heat these facilities . To prepare and fill the hot tub for you to use during your stay, we charge a fee at NOK 2000,-

Authentic and romantic lodge originally built of timber and used for the first time back in 1850 as housing for as many as 10 persons. Situated between the sea and the forest and with the northern light as only light in the dark season this might be the perfect place to enjoy North of Norway. The perfect match for a couple, but will also function very well for up to four persons. It is renovated to a modern standard in 2018, with focus on maintaining the heart and soul of the old building.

This tiny guesthouse has the most beautiful view directly from your kitchen and sleeping room window. Since there's no street lights around, it's the perfect place to watch the Aurora and enjoy a relaxing private getaway in the Arctic. We live next door with our 6-year old son and cat. We are at work from 8:00 are at home from about 4:30pm and on weekends. Close to some of the areas most amazing mountains, fjords, ski and climbing areas. a. Big appartment with 1 bedroom that holds a king size bed and one bunk bed. There is a fold out sleeping couch in the living room. All facilites, towels to firewood are included! A car is needed to get to grøtfjord. The hosts live in a different section of the house.

You can watch the beautiful northern light / aurora borealis from the huge window (10 sqm), sitting in the living room with a cup of tea or coffee in your hand:-) This is a perfect place for tourists who wants to see the northern light, whales in the fjord at winter, hiking/ skiing in the mountains or everything else you want in this lovely city.
