Tiny house holiday rentals in River Dee

Stayed here for 2 nights for the bank holiday weekend. The area was beautiful, the Lodge itself was modern and very clean. It made for a perfect get away with the private Hot Tub and cosy fireplace over looking the scenic view. Lodge was very private and secure. They provided firewood and blankets for the nights we were there and hosted a small shop for immediate conveniences such as drinks and snacks. Their information booklet had detailed lists of local shops, restaurants and nearby walks which was amazing, it saved us a lot of effort in a new area trying to find things to explore. We didn't get chance to check out the farm they had with several animals but were lucky enough to have the farm house cats come visit us each morning which we loved!

Thank you so much to Tracey and James for being such fabulous hosts during our weekend stay. We booked the Bella tent for two nights with our 5 year old daughter and our dog. The tent was beautifully furnished and so cosy, we felt right at home. The tent had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and there was also a spotless toilet, showers and a kitchen area with fridge, hob and microwave. The surroundings were absolutely stunning and exactly what we needed after a stressful week. James and Tracey prepared beautiful dishes for us and nothing was too much trouble. If you’re looking for pure relaxation and to be wined and dined hassle free this is the place to be. Fantastic, place and fantastic people. Thank you so much.

Little hidden gem....."The Dairy" is a cute little place to stay if you want away from the hustle bustle of the busier areas i.e Liverpool/Manchester but close enough to travel to. It's well equipped with everything you would need for a break away, we were only there a few night's but could have definitely stayed longer. The outside open garden accessed from the bedroom is so peaceful to relax in after a busy day or having your morning coffee. Easy access to shops for groceries, fuel station etc...highly recommend this place wouldn't hesitate to stay again. P.S - Phil thank you for the paracetamol it was a god send 😊

Stay in this place for our small family 2+1 and dog was a nice experience. Peaceful quiet location with a stunning view out of busy city. Well equipped kitchen. Nice garden.

Highly recommend! Such a beautiful cosy space perfect for a solo adventure or romantic couple getaway. The bed was so comfy, the black out blinds were great for if you want a lay in. Get location for mountain walks and the hot tub at the end of the day for achy limbs was perfect!

We had a great time at our stay and was perfect in proximity to Snowdonia. It was as described, great location and good communication. We look forward to returning on a north Wales trip in the future!

Lovely Stay ! Would 100% recommend for a peaceful weekend retreat. The hut was set on a stunning backdrop was very peaceful, private with lovely views and lambs!! Inside has all the amenities you will need and is very spacious inside. It was very clean! Manon was lovely friendly and accommodating. The location was great for not far drive to local shops, and other nearby towns/villages. Highly recommend :)

Excellent stay. Very clean and great amenities, including the hot tub! Very close to conwy and a great base for north wales. Very private and quiet so great for a relaxing weekend. Even left treats and fresh milk which was lovely. Would definitely recommend:)

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Sean’s place! From the moment we arrived, Sean was a brilliant host—welcoming, attentive, and full of great local tips. The property was spotless, beautifully presented, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. Carol and her gorgeous hut were amazing, the place was spotless, had everything it said it did and Carol made it easy to find with her instructions. There were lovely things for us on arrival to make us comfortable and stocked. Surroundings were beautiful, hot tub was fabulous. It was all a really good stay! One day the weather was rubbish and another was glorious and the place was perfect for both those days so can’t fault it! Would 100% come again

Beautiful, bright and immaculately clean contemporary space, perfect for attending a family wedding at a Rookery Hall next door. Easy to find and access on evening arrival, all the facilities we could need, delicious coffee and a quiet rural location. Oh, and a lovely personalised welcome card on arrival...thank you for a lovely stay.

Myself and my girlfriend have just come back from a lovely few days at Hicks hut. We felt very relaxed due to the peaceful location of the hut. We really enjoyed the welcome from the animals too, and Jane even allowed for us to feed them on our final morning. We would definitely visit again!

We had an amazing stay on this houseboat! The place was even more beautiful than the pictures—cozy, modern, and spotless. Everything felt very new and well taken care of. The beds were comfortable, and the sleeping arrangements were perfect for us. The kitchen was a lovely surprise—stocked with plenty of snacks and great coffee, which made us feel right at home. The marina setting is absolutely stunning and added so much charm to the experience. It was peaceful, relaxing, and truly unique. Communication with the host was excellent—friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout. Overall, we loved everything about our stay and would absolutely love to come back. Highly recommended!

Our stay at The Bothy was absolutely magical. The location is stunning — beautifully private with breathtaking views and the peaceful sounds of nature all around. It felt like a true escape from the everyday. The space itself is small, cosy, and idyllic — perfect for a romantic getaway. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the little touches made it feel incredibly welcoming. We loved cooking outdoors and relaxing in the wood-fired hot tub under the stars — such a special experience. Thomas was fantastic; warm, helpful, and respectful of our privacy. They gave us a great tour on arrival, shared a detailed manual full of thoughtful recommendations, and stayed in touch in case we needed anything without ever being intrusive. Couldn’t recommend this place more — a perfect retreat for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature.

We couldn't recommend thise place more highly. We had a brilliant and peaceful, also very enjoyable few days away. It was very clean and had everything you would need for a stay away. Sharon and Dave, the hosts are lovely and go out their way to make your time there as fantastic as possible. We will definitely be returning.

We've just finished a lovely few days staying here wishing it could have been a few more. The location is brilliant. It was so peaceful and was a wonderful retreat after long days exploring Wales. Sitting on the decking with the river next to you was idyllic. The hosts were lovely and were very helpful with recommendations of places for food and were always on hand if we needed anything. The chalet had everything we needed inside, a well equiped kitchen, the bed was very comfortable and having WiFi was great too as the phone signal is not good. We would definitely stay here again when we next visit Wales.

Lovely little cabin to stay and be cosy in; Hellie and John were very welcoming and knowledgeable about local trails and restaurants. The cabin was very clean and had great amenities such as a kitchenette and blankets, which made our stay very comfortable. Would love to stay with them again!

We had a gorgeous time relaxing and recharging at the gorgeous shepherd’s hut. The pictures don’t do justice to how secluded and peaceful the space is - we felt like we were the only people in the world! Sian and her family were an absolute delight, so friendly and welcoming as well as being flexible. They allowed us to stay all day as they had no one in the day we were leaving, and were very flexible with a lasts minute request. Very informative on the local area but also left us to enjoy it. The place is definitely an outdoor vibe and therefore don’t expect complete polished luxury, but you have everything you need it’s very cute and at one with nature. The experience more than makes up for it. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing and welcoming stay. Thank you!

This is probably the nicest place we’ve ever stayed! It was so peaceful and was a truly unique place to stay! The space is large and it has everything you might need. I hope we will be able to return here again soon!
