Lis and Andrew have a delightful house and a spectacular garden. Breakfast was tasty, we particularly enjoyed the homemade rhubarb compote! The beds were comfy and the shower worked well. The house is at the top of the hill and it’s a short walk to the nearby pubs and restaurants in Kington. We had a great chat with the hosts, Lis and Andrew who are friendly and amenable. It was a great stay, thanks so much!

The coach house was a lovely place to stop for the night during my travels. Really easy to be let in even after hours.

Three really delightful days at the Old Vicarage - for those wanting bland, beige, boring and banal then this is definitely a place to avoid - if however like me (and it seems almost everyone else who stays here) you like a house full of quirky, interesting, vintage and surprising items then this is definitely a place to come to - ... but more important is the host, Linda who really did everything to make my short stay simply lovely - lots of chats, tea, a superb breakfast and home baked rolls for a packed lunch and was in every way was the perfect, kind, host. For a quiet, scenic, most comfortable and enjoyable stay this is the place to be... many thanks Linda!

Terris had a lovely home, the room and bathroom were great plus the tastiest breakfast you could hope for. A great location for walking the coast with a good bus service and parking as well. Lovely experience. 🌈🙏

John and Steph are a hard-working couple doing their best to provide an exceptional stay for everyone! We were not disappointed and The Tower is steeped in history! We stayed in the front tower room, which was grandiose with enormously tall ceilings and with a lot of character. The breakfasts were amazing too! All in all we really enjoyed our stay and our visits out to the Welsh countryside… Thanks very much for looking after us so well 😊

We had a wonderful stay at Colette’s lovely guesthouse, which she runs with her husband. They were both incredibly kind and welcoming, and really made us feel at home. One of the highlights was their super friendly and adorable German Shepherd — we absolutely fell in love with him! The garden and the glasshouse in the back were beautiful and peaceful, a perfect place to relax. Every morning, Colette prepared us breakfast with lots of delicious homemade jams and thoughtful touches. It truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommended!

We had such a lovely stay at Heather's bed and breakfast! There were four of us – two adults and two kids – and we all felt incredibly welcomed from the moment we arrived. The house is in a private location just off the road. Although it's nearby, we were not disturbed by any noise at all. Heather greeted us warmly and made us feel completely at home. My son even kept calling her "grandmother," which says a lot about the kind and comforting atmosphere she created. Breakfast was delicious and filling – a great way to start the day! Heather and her husband took genuine interest in our road trip and personal stories, which made the experience feel even more special. To top it off, they kindly washed our dirty clothes and had them dried for us by morning – such a thoughtful gesture that we truly appreciated. When we accidentally left our chargers behind, they messaged us right away – just minutes after we left. Thank you, for such a warm and memorable stay. Highly recommended.

Very cosy room and lovely host. Carys was really friendly and even prepared a vegetarian English Breakfast for us. We felt very welcome and at home.

This place is better than a 5 star! We felt very pampered from the expansive breakfast to the large bathroom to the beautiful garden. Julianne has thought of everything you need for a relaxed and carefree visit. It's an easy walk to anywhere in town, but is in a quiet location.

Sometimes you come across a little gem of a place that really does stand out as being in that superior class of Airbnb's. Siri & Gwyn's lovely home, Bryn Haul fits that description to a tee. With amazing landscaped gardens this beautifully designed old cottage oozes with charm with a modern day mix. Spotlessly clean with endless amenities at your disposal. Siri who trained at the Manchester School of Ballet and elegantly glides around the house as though she still has her ballet shoes on. She shows a true interest in her guests and is a very interesting and beautiful lady. Gwyn is a fountain of local knowledge and is more than happy to help you in any way that might make your stay as enjoyable as possible. His charming disposition makes you feel at home as soon as you arrive. Thank you both.

This location is stunning. The views even on an overcast day were amazing. There is so much rich history in this area and the hosts are full of information for you if you want to know about the area. The home cooked breakfast was superb

After a very long, wet and windy bike ride, the very warm welcome from Mike and Sue (and Rusty) was wonderful. Super friendly hosts. We couldn't have wished for better. Yr Hen Farcdy was perfect - clean, comfortable, peaceful. We left with full bellies after a great evening meal and generous breakfasts. Diolch yn fawr.

Gordon’s place was exactly what I needed after hiking Cadair Idris earlier in the day. It was conveniently located, just a 1 min drive from the Cadair Idris car park. Gordon was a lovely host, welcoming and respectful; he was quite interesting with his hiking stories. I was happy I chose this place to stay and would stay here again in the future.

Great host, very helpful and understanding

Our stay at Rob & Vicky's was amazing. They were very flexible on our arrival time when we informed them we had our flight delayed. Very welcoming, friendly and talkative couple, and everything was super clean and as described in the add. I very much recommend!

We couldn't have found a nicer Airbnb to explore the southwest of Wales. Rachel and her family were excellent hosts and the room was spacious, very comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. We very much enjoyed our time and would have no hesitation in returning should the opportunity arise.

Lovely room, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. I left very early in the morning so missed breakfast but it looked like a great choice. Really great stay!

This is a 5 star b&b, one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in. So cosy, comfortable and scrupulously clean and well maintained. The facilities are perfect and well presented. Breakfast was lovely and fresh (we had sour dough toast, filter coffee, fruit and omega seeds) fresh flowers in the bedroom was a lovely touch. Fantastic views. The hosts are amazing and very attentive.

A beautiful location for a quite getaway with easy access to stunning walks. Sam and Tara are friendly helpful hosts providing a simple but well appointed and comfortable airbnb.

I had a lovely stay at Rhian's comfortable house! Rhian was always quick to respond each time and provided very clear instructions so the communication was very easy. The room is warm and cozy, and the bathroom is equipped with everything you'd need and kept impeccably clean. The house is situated amongst the hills and has a great view outside. Although I didn't have a perfect sunny time while I was there, it was still lovely. I'd recommend her place definitely.

If there were more than five stars to give I’d happily do so! Julia and Tony aren’t your average Hosts, they are super dooper hosts! Our entire stay was absolutely lovely. From the home baked cookies we received on arrival, to the best bed and bedding we’ve ever slept in we can’t rate Stoneleigh highly enough! The house is beautiful and gloriously renovated; we were made to feel part of a very comfortable home. All of Julia and Tony’s recommendations on where to go and places to see, were perfect for us, we brought our road bikes and spent three days exploring the countryside. We ate like kings and enjoyed the whole experience. We’d recommend Stoneleigh and Julia, Tony and Love Dog to everyone!

This place is amazing! The best way to sum this stay up is I received way more than what I paid for. It really does have it all, the views, the outdoor tub, the cleanliness, the layout and to top it off the restaurant like breakfast. Everything was flawless from the moment we walked in. I wish I could keep this place a secret but everyone deserves the experience we had. Thank you John for hosting us, we will definitely be back!
