Holiday rentals in Riversdale

Beautiful house, exactly as described. Large rooms with high ceilings, well-appointed and very clean. The outside space was great too-we loved the pool. The kitchen had anything you could think of and the bathrooms were nice. The only downside- only A/C in the bedrooms not downstairs but lots of windows and doors to open downstairs and everything else was so wonderful, the lack of A/C downstairs wasn’t a big deal. We would absolutely stay again; in fact we’d plan a trip to Belize around this house-it was that good.

Our stay was wonderful. Its a beautiful property very close to waters edge. Easily accessible yo all of Hopkins. We felt very much like home there. I cannot say enough good things about this property. If you need to accommodate more people they havr a sister home. Right next door.

Ultimately this was the best airbnb I have ever stayed in. The location is incredible- literally waking up inside the national park. Trails start onsite, waterfalls within a 30 minute walk. Abundance of birds. Room is overall basic (bed comfy, shower is great). No A/C and it is HOT at night. No kitchen only their restaurant. Dinner is $26 USD (lots of food, worth it) but the breakfast ($16.50) and lunch ($17.50) felt so overpriced. HOWEVER THE FOOD IS AMAZING. the chef is 10/10. all staff on site were unbelievably kind and helpful. The room itself is priced reasonably but everything onsite is in USD and EXPENSIVE!! Be prepared to spend a lot when you get there. Otherwise bring snacks/protein bars and do self guided hikes (free) to keep costs down. Arrange own transport too. Transport offered like ride to airport is $250. Hikes were great, I did 5/7 waterfalls. Saw only birds no other wild life which was too bad. Overall this was a great experience!!! amazing place and people

We loved the private beach! our family wanted something away from crowds and this house was it! You do need to drive about 25 minutes to get to Placencia but we enjoyed the drives back and forth. The kitchen does have minimal dishes, dish towels, etc. so keep that in mind for meal planning. Chris was very responsive to an issue we had with the water and it w as quickly resolved. We would definitely go back!

This is a great tiny home cabin I just outside of the village but close to everything. across the street from the beach. Wendy is a great host to communicates and is full of recommendations. I highly recommend

Words really can’t express how beautiful Tamzin’s place was! The pictures really did show just how amazing the space is. There is nothing else we could have wanted this place to be stocked with. Tamzin went above any beyond making sure we felt welcomed upon arrival. Don’t hesitate booking this place.

The White Orchid Villa is a lovely house in a beautiful setting on the banks of the Sittee River. It's surrounded by large trees that were filled abundant bird life that was a treat to listen to while sitting in the hammock in the screened in porch. Due to its location on the river there are lots of mosquitoes so bug spray is a must, which also made the screened in porch that much nicer. There is a canoe available to go explore the river and the lovely Town of Hopkins is a short drive away. The kitchen is fully stocked with lots of spices and everything you would need to prepare meals. The on-site caretakers Christina and Domingo were friendly and welcoming. Rupa, the owner was very helpful with suggestions and local contacts for tour guides. She also quickly responded to any questions we had. To top it off, there were friendly dogs with two adorable puppies that totally charmed my daughters. We would definitely come back!

If you like going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean, this is the place to stay at. The cabins are right along the edge of the beach and are walking distance to local businesses and delicious food. A bike is sufficient for getting around to businesses that are little further away and tour companies are close enough for pickups to further places. We happened to be there during a heat wave and were very happy that the bedroom had AC which helped us stay comfy at night. During the day the breeze from the ocean is cooling, so leaving the windows and door open brings in a nice breeze. There are chairs and hammocks on the porch and on the beach. Overall I recommend staying here for a relaxed beach vacation.
