Beachfront holiday rentals in Rockley Beach

My partner and I stayed for a week in Jess’s apartment, whilst I surfed and remote worked from the UK and close to my partners home in Oistins. Jess’s cosy apartment was just what we were looking for, private, quiet, comfortable and with lots of outside living space. The breeze blows through all the open shutters making it nice and cool and we enjoyed dinners in the garden and afternoon naps in the hammock. The apartment is a 5 minute walk from Freights Bay to surf and 20 minute walk to Miami Beach and Oistins for the shops and places to eat. Jess was the highlight of the trip giving us loads of great recommendations and an all round great host and person. We will definitely be keeping in touch and saying again!

Lex’s place had it all. There is a beautiful beach right outside the back door, it’s walkable to a grocery store, several cafes and bars and the Friday fish fry. We also could grab busses right outside the house to get to Bridgetown for more beaches and restaurants. Walking around felt safe (well lit) but of course be aware of your surroundings and the cars wiz by so be aware of where the sidewalks are. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space. We loved how there were lots of towels and pillows! The only thing to prepare for is that the second bedroom gets traffic noise so maybe bring earplugs if you’re sleeping in that room.

My husband and I fell in love about 8 years ago with Barbados and this was our 8th visit to Barbados. We booked this villa about 3 days prior to our arrival, and were impressed with the quick communication and very easy self check in. The villa is beautiful, nice and white and bright. The beds were very comfortable and it was spotless. Plenty of beach towels and bath towels! It was lovely sitting on the deck watching the surfers, we felt safe and happy in the Freights Bay Area with a quick walk to Miami Beach, the location of this villa was convenient and within walking distance to the fish market and Masseys grocery store! A lovely villa in deed and another wonderful vacation in Barbados.

We had an absolutely amazing stay in April 2025! This place is truly a gem, featuring a beautiful pool and a private, cozy jetty beach. You can lay down on your bed and watch and smell the ocean through the floor-to-ceiling open (if you wish) window. It had everything we could possibly need — we didn’t have to ask for anything extra. One standout detail (especially for travelers who love to stay organized): there was plenty of storage space for clothes and an enormous number of hangers — truly a dream for any woman on vacation! The location is also unbeatable — right in the heart of the island, surrounded by great bars and restaurants. You don’t need to drive anywhere (but if yiu do they have free parking spot, bus and taxis just next to the place); you can just walk and enjoy everything the area has to offer. The host was incredibly responsive, helpful, and made us feel so welcome. Honestly, it’s hard to believe a place like this exists! We are so grateful for this experience!

Great place overall! The unit itself is roomy, recent and clean. The location couldn’t be better; on The Gap, but not right in the bars section so it was quiet at night but you just had to walk 5 minutes to get to the action. Great host and his co-hosts were great as well. My wife and I really enjoyed our time and will be looking to come back with our daughters!

If you are considering Leslee Ann's place, let this be your sign to BOOK IT. Everything from the prime location, proximity to airport, on the local bus route which we were adventurous and used often to go to Oistins (8 minute ride), and the overall beautiful, well decorated and pristine condo itself. It was like being at home. Centrally located near St. Lawrence Gap where you can find great restaurants and Dover Beach. The condo... Each room has its own AC and we needed it after a long day touring the island. The home has everything you can think of, games, cable, internet, and washer and dryer!! We had enough space to have our own individual bathrooms and dressing areas. I appreciated the space. There's a balcony off of the main bedroom which gave an extra romantic touch. The bed was so comfortable it was hard to get up!! I give it a 100/10. Leslee Ann was prompt in responding to any questions, she provided useful recommendations, an overall excellent host. We will be back here soon!

We had a fabulous 2 week stay at La Canoa. With 6 of us there was plenty of space and we loved hanging out in the garden and on the veranda. We especially enjoyed the wildlife in the garden and the direct beach access. The kitchen was great, fully equipped and clean. Chris was a great host and swiftly responded to any questions we had. Having never visited Barbados before we could not have asked for more. La Cabane, the closest restaurant to La Canoa, serves the best food in a perfect location. (walking distance) We loved being by the harbour and rum distillery, there was something quite unique about this location. I would recommend hiring a car if you are staying here although we used the buses, we also explored further afield to the East and South coast Thank you Chris for providing such a wonderful place to stay in Barbados.

Garry’s place was perfect for our girls trip. It had everything you could need and more. He was very proactive, responsive and helpful. The condo is picture perfect and we really appreciate the thoughtfulness of Garry and his team.

We were there for a family reunion. Lots of us were scattered about at LC , Salty Toes, Barefoot Bay etc. so the location is great for convenience, grocery shopping, bakery etc. Lots of sea weed at this time of year which is not great. But can’t beat location for convenience. If you plan not to rent a car, it is easy to move about on foot or by local transport. Noisy though at night as a busy junction.

Kevin was warm, welcoming and kind. He met us as we arrived from the airport and was very generous with some little ‘welcome’ items for us to enjoy as well as some local recommendations. The apartment is beautiful with a great size balcony directly overlooking the ocean with access to a lovely pool & steps down to the beach. The rooms were clean and we had plenty of spare towels and linen for the beds which was great. Cleaning products supplied but we replaced what we used to ensure the next guests had some :) Overall, we had an amazing holiday and Kevin checked in on us to ensure all was OK - a nice touch! He’s also very responsive which is always reassuring! For anyone visiting - Would really recommend the street food market behind the gas station opposite the apartment - some great food in there. If you’re into breakfast, try out ‘park cafe’ in its own little haven behind massy store - GREAT food. To summarise - THANK YOU, Kevin - we will 100% be back!!

We absolutely loved this condo! The view from the balcony was absolutely spectacular. The location couldn’t have been better in terms of walkable, restaurants bars, grocery stores, etc. Would highly recommend this place. One tip bring your earplugs. The reggae bus likes to start honking its horn around 6 AM & the bar close by blasts music until 2AM but I would still highly recommend this spot!

We had the most amazing family vacation . Our accommodations were a big reason for this . We were so thrilled with our stay . The view was breathtaking and everything was walking distance to what we needed. Can’t wait to come back .

Had a wonderful stay at Sapphire! Ray was on top of all the details and was proactive about sharing. Dover beach is beautiful and this location is directly on the beach. There are lots of restaurants nearby and cabs always located outside if you need to go anywhere (make sure to vet your cab and get a price up front!!!) We rented a car for a couple of days to explore other areas of the island, as this was a much more economical option than getting a cab. Location is very secure with 24 hour security. I was traveling with my (young) adult children. Thank you Ray!!

Sean and Akilah were amazing hosts. They made our already lovely stay even better. They’re communicative, friendly, easy going. We loved their apartment and the pool. It was exactly what we wanted for our stay. Lots of things were walkable, it’s close to some lovely beaches and it’s near to buses so really easy to get around. A great find. Thanks so much!

My sister and I enjoyed our first visit to Barbados and staying at tucked away! The apartment is located really close to Rascals (Brandon beach) which is an amazing beach. The apartment was lovely and we enjoyed being able to cook at times. The grocery store is in walking distance (5mins walk). I really like how helpful and responsive Ian was. We will definitely stay here again. One thing to note that in the community they have kites flying all night. My sister was startled awake by the kites the first night. The kites didn’t bother me though. Definitely loved it.

I had a wonderful stay at Searocks Apartments! The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and felt like a true home away from home. The host was incredibly sweet and welcoming—she went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. She provided helpful local recommendations, which really enriched my trip. What really stood out was her attentiveness: there was a water outage in the area for a day, and before I even realized, she had already brought over fresh water and made sure I was taken care of. That level of care and thoughtfulness made all the difference. Highly recommend staying here if you’re in the area—lovely apartment, exceptional host, and an overall great experience!

Had a wonderful time at White Sands Resort. Place was exactly as described, clean, and all amenities as described. Rented a car for the week….free parking included made the decision to rent an easy one. Beach chairs always available, and although the beachfront is small(ish), we never felt crowded. Lots of restaurants and shops, all within walking distance. We highly recommend WSR as a vacation rental. Cyrus and Liam were most helpful and courteous!

Where to start... Lorraine is truly the definition of a "superhost". From the moment after the booking was made, Lorraine made herself available for any questions and she would always reply to me very quickly. Upon arrival, Lorraine greeted us with a smile and showed us around the apartment. She had even pre-purchased some basic drink items for us. The apartment itself was clean and as advertised with all the basic amenities you need for a beach vacation. The garden and front patio are probably the best feature of the house, especially with everything in bloom it made for a great private place to relax. Overall, we had a tremendous experience booking with Lorraine and we would actively seek out any properties she manages should we return to Barbados in the future.

Paul's place is incredible. RUN don't walk to that confirm reservation button. The view is breathtakingly beautiful, the pictures do not do it enough justice. Waking up to the view and sound of the ocean just a couple of feet from the patio was amazing. Saw several turtles swimming everyday. The amenities were great, clean and organized. Very spacious and secured. Paul is very responsive, kind and helpful. There are a lot of restaurants, shops and beaches in walking distance. A short bus ride or taxi to other popular areas in either direction. I stayed 6 days and did not want to leave. I will be staying here again when I'm back. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

It was exactly what I needed. Beautiful set up and location love the levels. Very spacious. Amazing beach setting Sound of waves all day Very local. Everything in walking distance or a cheap z van. Thank you for everything

What can I say, Kerry & Nathan were super hosts. Greeted me on arrival at their wonderful Airb&b. Very friendly and made me feel at home straight away. A wonderful hamper of food awaited us to tie us over for breakfast the next morning and beyond. Their home is spotless and Sasha the cleaning lady came twice a week to change bed linen and general cleaning. Location is exactly what we were looking for. Only 5-7 minutes walk to Oistins (lively in the evenings) but far enough away to have peace and quiet and watch the wonderful sunset in the evenings. 15 minutes drive from the airport. Kerry & Nathan keep up your fantastic work. You are a credit to the Airb&b industry. Thanks again for a memorable stay. Martin 🇮🇪

We loved staying here. It was so cute. Christy was the perfect host. Loved having delicious coffee every morning from her coffee shop. The front porch was private and peaceful.
