The area has wonderful walking and cycling tracks which extend along the foreshores of Tannum and across to Boyne Island. The Boyne River separates the twin towns and is spanned by The John Oxley Bridge. Wild Life and Bird Life in the area is prolific. Good fishing and crabbing. Walk to Shops, Cafes, Hotel.

What it lacks in size it makes up for in location, being only 20metres from the boat ramp, 50metres to the park and with 280degrees of uninterrupted water views. This water front location covers everyone, whether it be the fisherman, the lady wanting to read while enjoy a glass of wine on the deck or the kids who want to ride their bikes and play in the park. Our holiday rental located in Turkey Beach is part of a quiet community, that is both family and pet friendly. Less than an hour’s drive from Gladstone it has everything you need for a relaxing stay. There is a great little beach with a safe swimming enclosure, a boat ramp less than 2 km from the house, and has a small general store. Creek and estuary fishing is located close by and there is also easy access to the Barrier Reef & ‘Bunker Group’ for awesome fishing, diving, and boating.
