Suitable for all kinds of trips: city trips (Roermond 9 minutes by car, Maastricht 35 mins), weekends away or simply wanting to enjoy our garden and all it has to offer. For kids there is a trampoline, chickens to chase and lots of stuff to discover. There's a fire pit for you to use including wood and some comfy chairs to enjoy the sunshine! Please be aware that there is no kitchen facility. However, there is a coffee machine and water kettle.

There are numerous possibilities for hiking in the adjacent nature reserve. For bike lovers, there is the junction route that is right along the house. 20 km away is Designer Outlet Roermond. A visit to Thorn is also absolutely worth it and of course not to forget Maastricht 40 km away.

B&B Het Roerhofje is a charming accommodation, with stylish decor, located in beautiful Middle Limburg Herkenbosch. The room has all the comforts. Help yourself to a delicious breakfast choice menu in the morning, mostly homemade, with fresh and local ingredients. Baexem Castle was built in 1660 and is currently a unique B&B location. The castle is surrounded by a botanical garden which is only accessible to our guest. The garden has a swimming pond. The 5 guest houses were renovated in 2021 into characteristic rooms. In the castle you can use the bar and the music room where you can enjoy the murals of the famous painter Matthijs Roling. The price includes breakfast!
