The space

This cozy house is located a 5 minute walk to Crotched Mountain ski area with great hiking on off season. There is a full kitchen and living room area as well as half bath with laundry and one bedroom on first floor. The second floor includes one bedroom with two sets of twin bunkbeds, a full bath and a second bedroom with a single bed. There is a small screened in porch on the back of house which is very private and peaceful. On the front of the house is a large deck with acess to livingroom, kitchen and bedroom. The house includes washer, dryer and Gas Grill as well as all clean linens.

Very kid friendly with family Movies, Board games, puzzles and lincoln logs.

There are many things to do in the area which include Mount Monadnock (claimed to be the 2nd most climbed Mtn. in the world), golf, dining, horse back riding, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, shopping ect.

Two areas I would recommend looking at online is downtown Peterborough and downtown Keene. Peterborough is a very quaint town with places like The Peterborough Players Theater, Antique shops, Fine dining as well as Organic dining and Organic grocery store. There is an old fashioned movie theater and plenty of Arts. A local favorite is Harlow's Pub for drinks, food and music. The town of Keene is a favorite with a downtown full of small shops and restaurants where you can park and walk and enjoy indoor and outdoor dining along the way. Also lots of department store shopping. Keene is well known for its Pumpkin Festival in the fall which displays thousands of lit pumpkins.

There are lots of fairs and festivals throughout the different seasons. Such as the Hot Air Balloon Festival in nearby Hillsboro in July, The Cheshire Fair in August and The Spring Carnival right here at Crotched Mountain, just to name a few.

Also available is the use of three kayaks on beautiful Lake Monomonac which is a 35 minute drive away.

There are many things to do in the area so please ask any questions about what you and your family may be looking to do.

If you are looking for a place to just relax, you will enjoy a nice breeze through the house in summer and a beautiful sunset from the living room.

We welcome any questions and will get into more detail with any of your questions. Upon your arrival we will have avaiable maps and brochures on area attractions as well as hiking info and some area trail guides.

We used Daniel's place so we could see my son graduate at NEC in Henniker, NH. I absolutely hate staying in hotels/motels. This was a very nice relaxing place. It was a cute little cabin that accommodated me, my husband, son and nephew. I think it's wonderful when a host, who was…

Daniel was difficult to work with. He was emotional and was not very welcoming.

Response from Daniel:
There are always 2 sides to every story. When you book next time please make sure your clear of what the property owner can expect so they can make an educated decision of whether to accept the booking or not it would only be fair. Here is my Review I posted for Caitlyn the other side of the story. Ciatlyn had reached out to me looking for a place for the work crew where she worked, a roofing company. I had initially told her I had reservations about booking for a work crew especially with no prior reviews. She was polite, easy to communicate with, reassured me and stated they just needed a place to sleep to save the hour drive every day. I took the booking the place was left a disaster I had never seen such a mess, dirty pot & pans stacked besides the sink, trash overflowing on the floor thru out the house, split beer on the floors, empty beer cans beside the beds, a mattress taken off the bed, dirty clothes left on the back porch. When I reached out to her she asked if there was any damage I said no but that the place was trashed. One of her comments was maybe I shouldn't be renting my place on AIRBNB. I was not happy I feel she new what to expect and didn't care she just needed to find a place for the work crew. I have never had this experience before and try and screen who I except, lesson learned
