In our home (called Sleutelhuys, literally translated: House of Keys) past and present meet. Our home – that’s on the list of valuable heritage – is dating back to the eighteenth century. The former bailiff’s house has been completely rebuilt and refurbished in accordance with its historical character.
Our home is situated In the centre of the charming provincial town of Tielt. It’s close by shops and restaurants and it’s an ideal starting point to discover the Bruges Woodland. Cultural heritage cities like Bruges, Ghent or Kortrijk are close by (Tielt is right in the middle between the different cultural cities). Also quite some hiking and cycling routes start from here.
We have two spacious apartments were we let you lodge ‘in style’. Each apartment has its own kitchenette (sink, microwave ove, fridge, cooker, boiler), living room and separate bedroom. Basin and shower are part of the sleeping room by an open concept. The apartment on the ground floor has a sleeping room which opens onto a courtyard. Each apartment offers free Wi-Fi and a flat screen TV. There's a king size bed in every apartment. On your request we can provide a baby cot or an extra bed in the room (no charge). The apartments are 55 and 59 sq. metres so there's plenty of space.
Beside the apartments it's also possible to rent our house itself (it's also listed on airbnb). There are three more sleeping rooms, each with their own bathroom.
We look forward welcoming you to our home as we are sure it will bring you a very relaxing and memorable time.
