It has the highest sunshine records for the mainland. We recommend walking round Amberley village, 8 miles, with amazing thatched houses and cottage gardens. Do visit the walled tea garden mid week.
Eastmere kitchen and living room are sunny and well equipped, and close to outdoor sitting area. Parking for 2 cars alongside cottage.
Eastergate Lane is a rural, tree lined road linking 2 villages - Eastergate and Walberton. The lane started as a track in 13th century.
There are mini-market food shops in both villages.
You will need either a car or bicycles.
