Experience off-the-grid living in this private escape just 4kms from Whale Bay, & 12kms from Raglan. Romantic house bus set in a field on 35 acres; it has a large, expansive views of the coast and ocean, an outdoor bath on a big deck, a firepit to toast marshmallows. It's an escape from the everyday. It's for young romantics (at heart), the adventurous, people who want to unplug, reload and get back to nature

The LoveBus is set in a field high up on our 35 acre property and it has large, expansive views over pasture, the coast and ocean. It’s nearby a stream and just below our pine forest. It’s for young romantics (at heart), and adventurous types who want a special experience, not just accommodation.

Our rate is all inclusive.

Inside there is:
•An open plan, fully equipped kitchen with sink and gas cooktop.
•A dining space with candles for romantic dinners
•A beautiful and clean bathroom with hot shower and flushing toilet.
•An extra long, comfy built in couch with an amazing view out the large, bifold window to the ocean that can be used for snuggling (or an extra guest).
•A queen-sized bed with luxury bed linen. We put two duvets on the bed for winter so it’s extra warm and snugly.
•Plenty of solar powered LED lights, and a gas heater for chilly nights (please note the bus is fully insulated).
•A small chilly bin fridge to keep your food and drinks cold. You just need to turn this off at night.

Outside, there is:
•A large deck with a small table, deck chairs and a BBQ for outdoor dining and relaxing.
•An outdoor bath with hot water.
•A fire pit for fireside stories and toasting marshmallows

We supply:
•Morning Glory Organic coffee, tea and sugar, olive oil
•All bed linen, towels, dish cloths, and cleaning products.
•Ecostore NZ shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand wash
•Candles, magazines and books.
•Bug spray to keep the bugs away
•A detox from technology, if you choose to, there is no mobile coverage at the bus but you can connect to WIFI at some spots from the bus.
•A UE Bluetooth speaker to listen to your downloaded tunes.

ADVENTUROUS THINGS:
There are lots of adventurous things you can do whilst with us and we've left a few ideas for you in the bus. One of these things is a beautiful bush/stream walk (on our property) down towards the cliff/ocean, to a huge old Puriri tree where you can have a picnic. You’ll walk through the field, then through native bush and down to the stream, past a waterfall and then to the Picnic tree. The walk will take you 15 to 20 mins to get there and it’s a moderate to difficult level with downhill/steep uphill sections. If you want to do this then please bring some suitable walking shoes.

Where you’ll be

We are located just 4-5kms from Raglan's famous surf breaks; Manu Bay, Whale Bay and Indicators. Te Toto Gorge is just up the road. There are also some beautiful bush walks on our property as well as just down the road.
