The longer we were here (December-January 2016/7) the more fortunate we felt for having found this place. It was really large, airy and roomy, and the balcony that stretches from one end to another gave us such a wonderful eagle's eye view of New Town, gorgeous Moroccan sunsets and glimpses of the Atlas mountains. Wow! It's an older building which has clearly been lived in, but it's been well kept up. The appliances, bathroom fixtures, flooring and furniture seemed newer and were in very good shape. Everything was so clean, clean, clean really welcoming, and the cleaning lady was delightful, as was our wonderful security person, Mohammed who helped us through so many things—a really invaluable on-site resource. The other total gem is Chakib who chauffered us anywhere we wanted to go and led us to the nicest people, shops and services ever: camel rides and tea, a lovely Berber family's home and tea, a women's carpet cooperative and tea, a an argan women's cooperative, the all-time sweetest guide up the Atlas mountains, Jamal, and on and on. I HIGHLY recommend them all. Though on a very busy street, I was pleasantly surprised by how the whole neighborhood hushed about 21:30 and stayed quiet through the night, aided by the smoothly operating weather blinds . The internet connection was very good. The two elevators worked well and it just seemed a nicely functioning operation. The location was great for us with a few block walk one way to the Bab Nkob gate to the Medina and the New Town shopping centers the other way, and a great Carrefour Market just downstairs! It was fun to hear the gentle clop, clop of the horse drawn carriages which park just down the street. This was a really good solution for us in amazing Marrakech.
