We enjoyed an incredible stay at Mike's home in Antonito. There are not any lodging options in the area and we were very fortunate to be able to stay in such a clean and organized home. Mike was well prepared for our visit and a gracious host. The large room that he rents was very spacious, comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. Our stay exceeded our expectations in every way!! Stay at Mike's, it is truly an amazing experience! Also visit his wonderful coffee shop Cafe del Valle down the (URL HIDDEN) is the best thing to come to Antonito in ages!

Mike's place is very homely, and it has a very large room with a small kitchen and a refrigerator. It also has a private bathroom and a shower. It has a large double bed, and a bunk bed. It can accommodate 5 people easily. We went to Antonito for the Cumbres and Toltec Railroad trip, and Mike's place is just some 7 minutes walk from the train depot. Antonito has very few shops and restaurants, but they are all within easy walking distance from Mike's place. On our bus trip back from Chama, we overheard other passengers talking about their experience staying at the local hotels in Antonito, and we are glad we stayed at Mike's place instead!

I was very happy staying in Mike’s house. It is very comfortable, cozy warm at night with a good full size bed and plenty of space to spread out my belongings. It has a full kitchen, a shower and a bathroom all self contained units. The space was immaculate and located very close to the Narrow Gauge Railway to Chama, NM. Mike was very good to deal with on check-in and with advice during my stay.

Mike was a wonderful host, and his house was perfect. He left clear instructions and answered any additional questions we had. After a full day on the Cumbres and Toltec scenic railroad, we were happy to return to a fully-equipped, comfortable, and immaculate home.

This was a beautiful place that was very welcoming. We enjoyed the heat in the floor as we walked barefoot. Mike was a great host and answered any questions we had. We would stay here again in a heartbeat if we are ever in the area. I highly recommend this place as an Airbnb. If Mike would've had a guestbook, we would have written about our experiences in the area. After attending a wedding near Mogote Colorado, we visited the great Sand Dune's national Park and the Zapata waterfall. One day we took a ride on the Cumbres Toltec scenic Railroad and that was a blast! If we had it to do over again, we would take the The bus to Chama and then ride the train all the way back to Antonito. There are two good cafés in town. The kitchen was great! It was just like being at home. He allowed us to use what condiments we needed from his refrigerator and pantry We made our own big breakfast each morning before heading out to explore. God bless this home.
