This little house is great for getting an authentic Balinese home experience. Located in their beautiful family compound, it is a stand alone building so you can get your own privacy too. No problem coming and going as you please. It's location is just steps from the co-working …

This listing was not ready for Air’b’n’b when we moved in. Despite their efforts after we moved in, it was too late and we had to cut short our month long stay.

Response from Eka:
On rare occasions as a host, we receive a guest who is a complete mismatch/misfit for our listing and I believe this was one of those times. It’s a frustrating situation for the host as we try everything to make a guest happy and accommodate them. Many of our guests become (Hidden by Airbnb) friends and stay with us again when they return to Bali. From the moment she arrived at the property, Chantel didn't seem happy with the listing. She didn’t seem to have read the description carefully or looked at the photos. She complained about mosquitos and insects getting in as the space is open to the outside (this is clear in the description), she didn’t like having an outside kitchen (there’s a photo of it on the listing) and she expected we would bring her breakfast (the place is described as ‘self-catering’). She also complained about the cleaner coming in and ‘violating her space’ so we had to stop the cleaner (I told her initially, a trusted cleaner would come in 3x a week and this is in the description) and then she complained that the bathroom floor was not cleaned properly, but wouldn’t allow the cleaner in. We went to extra lengths to make this booking work: putting mesh over the open spaces, buying an electric mozzie zapper, providing extra fans but Chantal was simply not happy, and left early. She also managed to boil the kettle dry, melting the plastic top, and permanently stained a new, good quality cotton towel, so we had to replace the kettle and towel.
