Great location, close to town centre and Bowes Museum. Lovely walks from the cottage along the river in both directions. Comfortable cottage with lots of character. We enjoyed our stay very much.

If I could rate 10/10 stars I would. I live locally and my girlfriend was staying in town. We wanted somewhere private with all the comforts of home. We got just that in this beautiful old cottage. The place itself is amazing and very comfortable. The hosts are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Will be staying again anytime possible.

This delightful little cottage is situated in a very historic town. It is convenient to local amenities and attractions. We found it an excellent base for our day trips. The cottage is clean, well appointed and has a fantastic atmosphere. We really enjoyed our stay. Chris and Geoff

A lovely old and quirky house. Very well located in the centre of the town with easy access to the surrounding countryside. The box of biscuits and bottle of wine left by our host was very much appreciated. Would we go back.....Yes.

We had a wonderful stay in Daisy Cottage, everything we needed was there. Kevin was there to welcome us and gave us some good local tips for eating out and places to visit. The little extras were much appreciated. The cottage is just a few minutes from the main High Street in Barnard Castle and a good base for exploring the area.
