Emma & Craig were perfect hosts. We arrived late in the day (later than expected) and were made to feel very welcome from the second we got there. They couldn't have done more for us in the time we were there and Craig was even kind enough to taxi 2 of our party into town and back again. The house itself is beautiful and stocked with everything we needed and the surroundings are very peaceful and picturesque. Would thoroughly recommend staying here, our only regret is that we didn't stay for longer.

My husband and I, along with our two small children escaped our hectic city lives to find a little piece of rural paradise back in 2011. And it has not disappointed.
This is the 4th house we have renovated personally (and the first time we have done it both in a foreign country and with toddlers; a challenge in itself!) but we have loved the adventure of uncovering the history and story of the building. We have also strived to restore it sympathically whilst giving it a contemporary feel (with the advantage that my husband is a carpenter and joiner, we have tried to make most design elements as bespoke and tailored as possible).
