Our beautiful house, built in 1851, is in the historic district of Martinsburg, was a parsonage through 3 generations, and has plenty of old world charm. We are 20 mi from historic Harpers Ferry, WV and 75 mi from Washington, DC. Shepherdstown, the home of Shepherd University, and the oldest town in WV, is 5 mi away. The Marc/Amtrac train station is 4 blocks away and has commuter fares for 2 departures to DC in the morning and returning early evening. "other things to note" below.

As my first airb&b res had a hurricane interruption, this was my first actual airb&b stay. It was DELIGHTFUL! A charming, spacious, historical home w the most comfortably soft bed I've ever slept in! The host is an absolute delight!
