Good hosts. Exactly as described. Fun and authentic. This is a perfect getaway for a couple. Extra clean. Great area to go to Flea markets, yard sales or the outlets in North Conway. We hope to come back soon to go hiking with our dogs. Its a great place.

Tompeca cabin is the place to hunker down into after a long day hiking in Evans notch. Cozy, dark, weird, comfy, clean. A place I would love to go back to with my wife or old pals or even family. This place is why Air bandb is great!

Hi Neal, Thank you for your five star review of our Tompeca cottage -- sounds like you enjoyed it as much as we do. We often relax in there after a long day of hiking (which we plan on doing today) Look forward to having you as our guest again and sharing some stories. Best Regards, Kevin and Theresa PS - The lady with the crossed out face was found hanging (without the cross out) in the cottage when we bought the farm 35 years ago. When we converted the cottage into the Brownfield Boys Club (beer drinking, smoking cigars, darts, poker games) women were excluded from entering. The woman with the sour puss was allowed to hang as a reminder to the women of the neighborhood they were not welcome. Hence the cross-out.

It is a quaint little cabin that provides privacy in a quiet setting. The cabin has a very interesting feel to it, with very old decorations that make it very unique. It has great value for the price. If you are in the area (i.e Fryeburg, North Conway), I would definitely recomme…

What a place! The decor has very interesting history behind it. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. Kevin and Theresa are very friendly hosts. We enjoyed the trails nearby and the fresh blueberries we picked ourselves.
