Within 15 minutes on foot from the station. Very cheaply available. A quiet residential area. A beautiful room. Toilet (shower toilet), separate bus. Wi-fi available (in order of arrival). It is popular with the owner's fine-grained service.

Very comfortable with the cheapest price. And enjoyable location with traditional suburban of Japan. Specially Ryugasaki and nearby Ushiku city are well known as unique cities with very good restaurant s and public parks. So I think that Kondoh San's house is very good to enjoy Japanese normal life style.
The room is cozy and has the basic necessities one needs. Plus Kondoh san was a lovely and easy to reach host who made my stay that much more pleasant. The location is a bit far from Tokyo but it's not bad in terms of the train ride. There are plenty of stores nearby to find most of anything you might be missing and there are a handful of restaurants to try if you want to vary your meals a bit. I would also recommend just taking a walk around the neighborhood because it was quite beautiful but I was more than pleased with my overall stay. I would certainly recommend to anyone working on a budget as well. :)
Private, quiet, and an overall excellent accommodation for the traveler who enjoys living in calmness and can appreciate a traditionally Japanese environment. The house is actually an apartment, with loft, a normal fridge, and safe walking distance to Sanuki station. There is a bike you can use to ride around Ryugasaki, but there are hefty fines for getting caught parking it in the train station without a permit, so I suggest you have a permit if you plan to ride it there regularly. You will have neighbours who are super sweet, and probably feel like the only Gaijin in the entire town, but do not feel lonely, there are several international families in the neighborhood that you may see whilst wandering around. Kondoh is a great host! He will pick you up from the station so you don't need to hire a taxi in Japanese, and will have some basic food and lots of water in the fridge for you in case you are too tired and lost to walk around for a couple of days. There is a supermarket about a block and a half away that has really a good ready-to-eat selection mainly for non-vegetarians, and a great variety of fruits and vegetables. A lot of products also for Vegan needs, but be aware that fermented Kombucha tea is only available at certain fashion cafes into Tokyo. I am so happy here, that I will stay another month until I can sort out my residency in Japan for the academic year.
The house is cozy and has everything you might need, and Kondoh san was super kind since the moment he picked us up at the train station. Ibaraki it's kind of far from tokyo but still within an hour you can reach easily. The house it's about 15 minutes from the station, there are family markets and 7-11 around. Kondo san was kind enough to provide us with a little map with these places marked. Overall, our stay was great!
