From the comfort of your lounge/kitchenette you can watch the changing tides, see reflections of the masts of the moored boats on the river, occasionally capture a glimpse of the feeding seals or watch the soaring white breasted sea eagles. Photo opportunities abound.
There is no smoking policy in place and it is asked that guests treat their surroundings with care and respect.

In a word, I'm Happy.
I think it has something to do with where I live and the community I live. I welcome everyday to use each of my senses to their fullest...What will the day bring, whats happening on the river, what will I see, who will I meet, what will I taste, what produce will be shared, tomatoes, cucumber, what will I make, what will I learn?
The simple pleasures of a smile, a wave, nature seem to be the oxygen I need and wouldn't like to have to live without. I am happiest if people around me openly share their "Wow Moments" and gush unashamedly of their love of Tasmania.
Comedy is also a must in my life, a laugh out loud movie, a funny book, a good joke, whatever it takes to have laughter in my life.
My travels are generally geared on immersing myself in new experiences, lifestyles, customs, cultures and trying new food. Travelling and teaching Conversational English in a number of countries has been a privilege and opportunity to observe that kindness and consideration is key.
I have found my most enriching, memorable travel moments have involved learning from the locals or being hosted by families who so willingly share of their time, their home and experiences. This is something I would hope my Guests take away from their stay at 'Taberners on the Tamar'.
