My friends and I stayed here for 2 nights. The cottage is beautiful and the open fires were a luxury! The cottage is in a great location within walking distance to the beach. Fraser was a great host, friendly and offered some great local knowledge and always offered to get in contact if we needed any further help. The house was full of thoughtful touches that made our stay really enjoyable and run smoothly!

We’ve had a very relaxing weekend here! Easy to find, this fab little cottage has everything you need and is so so clean and tidy. The open fire in the lounge is so lush...we ended up having to get extra logs! It’s in a great spot in the village and everything from a bracing walk along the windy beach (we saw seals!) to a cheeky pint or two is just at your fingertips. Not to mention the Picnic Fayre deli which has the tastiest samosas ever :0) It was a bit of a struggle getting up and out by 10am on a Sunday but we did it!! Thank you for a very happy time (and the wine & cake)...we have some gorgeous memories and a pocket full of pebbles from the beach.

The house is truly beautiful and I don’t feel the pictures do it justice. It’s very spacious but still has a lovely cosy feel. The house was absolutely spotless with lots of beautiful touches. The facilities are all high end and the fire was a delight to have! The village of Cley itself is adorable! We would highly recommend and both feel truly relaxed after our stay. Already looking to plan our next trip.

Lovely cottage in the heart of Clay village close to the windmill and the marshes - well equipped and tastefully decorated. A bottle of wine and cake were a nice welcoming touch! The information folder was very helpful - clear instructions about the property and a useful introduction to the village, local area and amenities (particularly the pubs and restaurants for eating out). Communication with Fraser was excellent, very prompt and helpful. We enjoyed our brief stay very much - it was an excellent base from which to make our first exploration of this part of the Norfolk Coast - very impressed!

Fraser's cottage - Sky Blue Cottage in Cley next to the Sea is very stylish and superbly located in the heart of the village. The cottage has all the facilities you will need. Views from the front bedroom look across the salt marshes towards Blakeney and from the rear you see the iconic Cley windmill. In less than a minutes walk from the cottage you can be on one of the coastal paths across the salt marshes to the beach. Sky Blue Cottage has it all and is perfect for two or three people with a good size double bedroom and generous size single room with 4ft bed.

Stayed for 2 nights – and had a lovely time. We drove past the entrance a couple of times before finding the house, but as soon as we located it getting in was a breeze. Fraser's instructions are very clear – but you really have to keep your eyes open not to miss the turn! Everything was clean, warm, well-equipped and friendly. Had a great time – now just need to figure out a time to come back!

Moved from London in 2001 and ran a hugely successful 5 star bed and breakfast in the village for 13 years. Also owned and managed several holiday cottages during that period.
