A few minutes drive from the lake we are situated on a scenic and peaceful acre. We offer a large private room and ensuite that is completely seperate from our house.
The room is very sunny, warm and recently renovated and includes a private deck and garden space with seating for you to enjoy.
We have a queen bed perfect for 1 or 2 but are happy to accomodate children and can help with portacots or an extra mattress.
A kettle, fridge, tea, coffee, milk and muesli is also provided.

The space
Our home is in a semi rural area of the lake Hawea township so it is very quiet and peaceful with a great view of the stars and mountains. We have 3 chickens and a welcoming dog. We are 15min walk to the lake and 15min drive to Wanaka . Our property has a lovely view of the mountains as does the guest room which includes a large north facing sliding door that is very warm and cosy.

We love the peacefulness of the area the change of the seasons, the proximity to the lake and river, and the friendly and safe neighbourhood
There are a couple of good dining options in Hawea, takeaways and restaurants and a small shop for basic groceries.

We are usually home to welcome guests , give advice or help if needed. We have 2 small children who keep us busy but we do our best to meet you in person. Alternatively we can send self checkin details if that works for either the guests or us on a given day.

We have a later checkin but are happy to try and accomodate earler checkins if a guest can let us know in advance.
