Skippers Retreat is within 3/4 of a mile of St Erth railway station.You’ll love the place because of The peace and tranquility of a traditional Cornish village.. It is is good for couples and solo adventurers alike. On site parking available. Cycle storage available .
Guests have their own parking space and their own entrance to Skippers Retreat. It is adjoined yet separate to our bungalow giving guests complete privacy, though we are on hand should you need us. The living area comprises a 30ft space divided into kitchen/diner and lounge area, it's both spacious yet cosy. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, fridge freezer and microwave, iron, ironing board.
Along with central heating there is a log burner. The spacious bedroom houses a king size bed and has a walk in wet room, a hairdryer is supplied. Guests are welcome to use the garden and the summer house.
Access to apartment is via main drive of Treetops (bungalow). A parking space is allocated on the left inside the gate ,proceed up the drive and the entrance to Skippers Retreat is on the left through the porch.
Interaction with guests
We will usually be available to assist guests but not all the time, though we will leave phone numbers for friends on hand to help should the need arise.
Other things to note
Guests will have a welcome pack on arrival which will include tea, coffee, sugar and milk, plus either homemade breads or cakes.
There is a cool bag and picnic ware in one of the kitchen cupboards, cool blocks are in freezer. Kitchen roll, tin foil, cling film and food bags are supplied.
There is also a selection of board games, dvds, cds, books and magazines.
I live with my partner Jon, we have four grown children and seven grandchildren ranging from 2 to 18.
I enjoy reading, walking with or without our dog Joe, gardening, music (am in 2 choirs locally), rug hooking and cooking. We have a camper called Betsy and love just getting in and going off.
