Broadham Cottage is set on a farm in the heart of the South Downs National Park, 5 miles North of Chichester, West Sussex and just a stone's throw away from Goodwood and Cowdray. The cottage comes equipped with a fully-functioning kitchen and living space, 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a private garden and ample parking.

The cottage offers immediate access onto the South Downs way, via scenic footpaths with traditional country pubs en route.

We look forward to welcoming you!

The space

Being in such a remote and picturesque location, this Cottage is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the countryside. We want you to feel as if you are at a home away from home and have made sure that you have everything you need in the Cottage in order to do so. A fully-equipped kitchen allows you to enjoy home-cooked dinners; a new shower room (installed in December 2016) comprising of quality features including underfloor heating, Burlington shower set with additional hose-handset, electrical shaving point.. and more!; a luxurious and spacious bed, with new blackout curtains/ blinds will help you fall asleep within no time at all; and the freedom to come and go as you please let's you dictate your stay. We're sure you will have a great time!

Guest access

The private garden is for Guests only during their stay so please feel free to use it as much as you like! Just access it through the doors in the living room..

Interaction with guests

There is usually at least one person at the house at all times so in the event of an emergency like a power cut, please feel free to come and find one of us... we are usually rushing about the place feeding or looking after various animals!

We want to try and greet as many of our guests as possible to ensure you have everything you need and are settled in, but we also want you to feel as if you're in your own home and not at ours, so we will leave you to it as much as possible!

Other things to note

There is generally no mobile phone signal at the cottage, but phones, laptops and tablets can be connected to the WiFi. However, due to our rural location, please note that WiFi can be intermittent!

In the Autumn and Winter months we provide fire making materials so guests can use the log-burner should they wish. If guests require additional material to what they are provided, then there will be an additional charge.

Lovely location. Nice and quiet. The house was very clean and as described. Beanie is a terrific host and couldn’t do too much. Super friendly. Excellent access for attacking the South Downs. Marvellous walks.

Beanie and her family were really welcoming and helpful, and the cottage was perfect for a quiet few days away. It was very homely (the underfloor hearing in the bathroom was a particular treat!) and a great base for exploring the South Downs.

This is a fabulous place to stay - so rural and surrounded by greeneries and farm animals. The cottage is impeccable and has everything that you needed. The best bit - there is no mobile signal so that we can completely switch off and relax. This place is worth 6 stars!
