The space

Comfortable double room on ground floor with french windows opening to the back garden of this Edwardian family house. The house is on a quiet tree lined road close to supermarket, post office and transport. There is a comfortable sofa bed and chest of drawers. Wifi available.
Acton is extremely well connected with central London and Heathrow airport. Nearby Acton Central Station offers London Overground services across north London to Stratford via Willesden Junction, West Hampstead, Highbury & Islington and all intermediate stations, and south to Richmond, from where National Rail connections via Clapham Junction serve south- and south-west England. Acton Town underground station is 1200 metres away and offers both Piccadilly and District Line services. Acton Main Line station is 1000 metres away; from there a journey to Paddington Station takes only nine minutes. In addition, bus 207 and its speedier sister service 607 serve Shepherd's Bush. The journey takes 10 minutes or so, and Hammersmith & City, Circle and Central line services are therefore readily accessible. The night bus stop is close by.
There are many excellent cafes, pubs and restaurants in the local area. Churchfield Road, which is 140 metres away, has several restaurants, an Indian, Japanese and Lebanese, several hairdressers, two gastropubs, Sainsbury's, a bakery, a traditional butcher, off licence, hairdressers and much more. Beyond that, Acton High Street offers all the usual banks, Morrisons and post office. A high standard of nearby places to escape to is set by our proximity to Kew Gardens.
