My cottage is a home from home, situated in the heart of the historic town of Glastonbury. Off a quiet street you can have peace and quiet but all within a stones throw of unique boutiques, great restaurants, bustling pubs and cafes. The Abbey is a couple of minutes walk away and the famous Glastonbury Tor and Chalice Well Gardens are all within a 5 minute walk... The cottage is surrounded by the history of this wonderfully unique town and all it has to offer.

The space

For those that smoke there is a small yard out the back of the house. Please use this area.

Guest access

The whole house is for access for your visit. There is a metal gate and a code at the entrance before you get to the front door of the cottage. There also is a key bank for the front door. The code will be given to you closer time on your arrival if I am unable to meet up and let you in, I do like to meet those of you that are staying though, it is lovely to know who is staying.

Interaction with guests

I am mostly available as and when you need my assistance.

Other things to note

My cottage does not have parking, but those that come in cars can unload and load outside the front of the entrance. There is an inexpensive carpark and hour parking further down the road from the cottage. Otherwise there are near by roads that you can park on for free.

NIcolas was very friendly and responsive. The place is great location but quiet, very relaxing home, highly recommend!

This is a cosy cottage and a perfect place to explore Glastonbury and its amazing culture (litterally around the corner!). The footpath to the Tor starts at the top of the road and it is thus easily accessible for last minute sun sets. For further tours: don't miss Wells as it was (for us) much nicer and calmer compared to Bath. The check in and everything else was well prepared and organised as all communication went perfectly well. Really nice place!

Nicola is a gracious host and her home is centrally located in Glastonbury - it is an easy short walk to shops and restaurants, and to the town hall where our conference was. We enjoyed the walk to the Chalice Well Garden and up to the Tor. The beds are very comfortable. We found free street parking a few blocks away. We were pleased overall!

The cottage is nice and cozy with a hippy touch perfectly matched with Glastonbury. It is only a bit hard to tell what you can use or can't since the house is so full of personal belongings.

Response from Nicola:
You speak of the kitchen? As there are drawers and surfaces free all round the house for Airbnb guests to use. I am sorry it was not clear to you, in the use of kitchen, as only one shelf that was private in kitchen, everything else is for your use, anything in fridge, tea coffees, jams, bread, milk, cereal, oils, vinegars, all left for Airbnb guests to help themselves, I leave no veg or packed foods, i.e cheese, etc, guest do generally know this, but thank you for your comment I will make sure it is written up clearly as guests arrive, this is partly my home too, as Airbnb was set up opening people's homes up to share, unlike bed n breakfast or hotels, which might suit some guests better, as an option. Thank you, Maya, I do my best to make it a pleasant stay, and will endeavour to do better!.

This is a lovely chilled out quirky cottage with its own courtyard garden. Very comfortable and relaxing in a quiet location. Perfect for meditation, yoga practicing, arty types and you can really switch off as books and board games replace TV!

I have been living in Glastonbury area since 2014, after moving from Cambridge, as West is best! I was a potter and sculptor much of my life, then became increasingly interested in community projects and working with metal and other materials in building and skill share.
I love Glastonbury, it's a refreshing unusual town with its friendly feel it gives off, anything goes here in all the colours and interactions of the local community.
Please ask any questions. And hope to see you sometime, or re-see you here in small quirky Glastonbury town, with its many wonderful attractions.
