TV/DVD player:
The TV has a built-in DVD player (left controls). Cable TV carrier is Charter. A printed channel guide is also near the TV

Front door:
When you unlock the door, please remember to unlock the knob or keep the key with you! Using the key gets you in, but you may be locked out if you forget that step. Calling a locksmith probably isn’t part of your vacation plans!

Heating and cooling:
Forced air gas heat and central A/C.
Use as you wish during your stay, but please reset to 55 degrees heat in winter, 78 degrees cooling in summer on your departure.
Fireplace is for decoration only. Do not burn anything in the condo's fireplace.

Water:
All Sugarloaf units share the same water source and it is tested regularly. You may notice it is “white”, when it comes from the tap. The “white” is air and calcium and will dissipate after a few moments. Otherwise, it is normal well water. There is a Brita water pitcher in the fridge.
On your arrival, you may find the hot water heater turned off in the entryway utility shed’s circuit breaker: bottom right breaker.

Linens:
The beds are freshly made and linens placed in the bathrooms and kitchen. Please strip the beds and leave all used linens (except bedspreads) on the bathroom floors when you leave in the morning.
Bring your own pool/beach towels.

Trash and Recycling
Upon departure, you may leave your rubbish in the entryway’s utility shed trash barrel. It will be picked up. Please consider recycling at the public site in Cedar. If you wish, we will take care of your returnables.

Paper and cleaning supplies:
I will provide napkins and two rolls per room (TP for the bathrooms and Paper towel for the kitchen) for each week’s stay.
Dishwashing and dishwasher soaps are provided. Please run the dishwasher with your used dishes on your departure. The utility closet has additional cleaning supplies for your use.

Kitchen basics
On-site: some starter basics: spices, herbs, salt, pepper, vinegar, oil, sugar, hotel coffee packages (use 2/half pot) 4 cup and 8-10 cup drip coffee makers with filters are available in the condo.

We hope you enjoy your stay. To get you started, we recommend (website hidden) web searches related to Leelanau, Sleeping Bear, Glen Arbor, Suttons Bay, Leland, and Traverse City

Great condo! Close to all of our favorite places. Easy drive into TC and close to Lake Michigan beaches. The condo itself was comfortable. Master bedroom bed was comfy (a huge bonus as many rental beds are not!). Kitchen well stocked with everything you need. Very clean. Mary was very responsive and checked in during our stay.

About Mary

I traveled internationally when I was young. I have time to get out and about again, plus I have a lovely condo "up north" that I'm happy to share!.
I like to stay in places that give me a local experience. I love learning how others live, what's real and important to them. Shopping in local markets, having a local delicacy (ice cream/gelato), finding something pretty or practical to take home and remember the trip, drinking a coffee and watching people, bicycling, exlporing, learning culture and history!
