Enjoying a quiet setting on the edge of the picturesque village of Strathpeffer, this detached architect-designed house has been equipped and furnished to ensure as comfortable and relaxing a holiday as possible. Just a few minutes walk from the centre of this beautiful spa village, Peffer Lodge makes an ideal base for exploring the many activities and attractions of this scenic part of the Highlands.

The space
The house has a modern, open plan layout between the living, dining and kitchen areas, all spaces are provied with large windows to maximise daylighting and to take advance of the views. A second lounge has been created in the upper floor this allows adults and children to congregate as they wish which works well for larger groups. All rooms sizes are generous and they are well equiped with modern style furniture.
The house has been designed to designed to accomodate people with mobility difficulties. Level access is provided to the front door with a short ramp which has a 1 in 15 gradient. All internal doors have a clear opening width of 775mm.
A twin bedroom and shower room are located on the ground floor.
The house does not meet full wheelchair accessibility requirements but it will cater for those with mobility issues.
The house has been provided with a large garden and off street parking for up to 4 cars.
The garage is provided with a table tennis table which guests are welcome to use.

Mountain biking on the local forest trails, walking and climbing, water sports, fishing and golf with a challenging 18-hole course in the village are just some of the wide variety of activities. There is also an equestrian centre about 7 miles away where you can enjoy horse riding. For the less energetic, take a stroll along one of the many beaches of the Moray Firth where you may catch a glimpse of the resident dolphins or meander around some the many picturesque fishing villages. Culloden Battlefield, Loch Ness and the Highland capital of Inverness are all less than an hour’s drive. Further afield, take a trip west to the Isle of Skye, Eilan Donan Castle and NTS Inverewe Gardens or north to the stunning land and seascapes of Sutherland and Caithness – often known as Europe’s last great wilderness. Shop, pub and restaurant 0.25 miles.
