Interaction with guests

++++++++ SUPPORT YOU AS MUCH AS I CAN ++++++++

My favorite word is "縁 (EN)" a Japanese phrase that describes a mysterious force that binds people together and the chance of starting a new relationship.
The term reminds people to cherish any moment and to provide the best hospitality to other people, citing the fact that encountering someone or something is kind of a miracle.
Therefore, please let me know if there is anything I can assist you with during your stay!

Tetsuya's place was a basic but well equipped home. It was suitable for my 3 friends and I spending one night in Okutama. Tetsuya was swift in communication and gave us some good recommendation around the hood. Recommended for short stays!

Very nice place near the station. But because the train is near, it can be noisy until 23.30pm, and because of the raod near by. But I definitly recommand the place to enjoy the Okutama region.

This was a cute, rustic place with a cottage-y feel. The bunk beds were comfortable with great bedding. The location was great--an easy walk from the train station and right across the street from lovely walking paths and trails along the river. There weren't many restaurants open for dinner in the area, so we made use of the kitchen facilities (the 7-11 nearby is open 24 hours for food items). There is no hot water in the kitchen which felt a bit unhygienic for washing dishes. The place was a little dusty...but maybe that was just part of the rustic feel! Air conditioning worked well, upstairs and down. We enjoyed our visit to Mitake!

This was a nice and cosy place, with a "camping" feeling to it. Close to the station and convenient for hicking around the area. Testuya-san was quick to reply to my questions through the chat, on the day of the checkin. However, because of the camping style, the price feels too high. Also some of the amenities (bath towels, cutlery) could be better. Lastly the wifi connection was very very slow (maybe the monthly cap was reached). Other than that we had a good stay there and I would recommand it, albeit at a lower price.

Response from Tetsuya:
Cyril-san thank you for your comment. Thanks for all the helpful opinions! Wifi is considering introducing a high-speed line, and is due to be constructed soon. I did not notice until the matter of cutlery was pointed out! Autumn leaves are also beautiful, please come and visit again!

A simple mountain place, with a camping feel to it (even the cutlery and crockery :)), very comfortable and conveniently located. Tetsuya solved any problems that arose in at top speed and was very accommodating. Top host. Very good choice for the Mitake area.

Staying at Tetsuya's place was great! Very near the station and very clean, looks exactly as in the photos. He even put out the kotatsu for us which was very kind. Everything closes early so if you need to shop arrive there before 5, but there is a 7/11 open 24 hour so no worries about starving if you forget. Highly recommend staying here!
