Clean, modern, and spacious condo overlooking the ocean. Buiding is located right on the beach, though the beach is composed of pebbles and drops off suddenly to the water. The Keys is mostly mangrove swamps so don't expect wading depth water and a sandy bottom. The beach is equipped with grills and shaded tables and a pool is located nearby for use by condo occupants. We were within walking distance of the Florida Keys Diving Center and a short drive from Conch Republic Divers, both of which offer scuba diving charters. We found it difficult to go for walks due to the heat and lack of shaded pathways, so plan to do most commuting by vehicle. The condo itself is well equipped. The kitchen has most, though not all, of the basic utensils you would expect. I suggest checking what past guests left behind (e.g. coffee filters, spices, and grilling supplies) before making a trip for groceries (Winn Dixie is close by). The deck is large and has ample room for four adults to sit on together. There is no conventional dining room table, so expect to sit up at a high kitchen counter on barstools. If travelling with small kids, be aware that these tall stools are heavy and have the potential to tip over. The fridge is large and has ample room for groceries. Beware of the steel handle on the freezer. More than one of us hit our heads on the rather hard, sharp edge of this handle while ducking into the fridge. The A/C is great and cools the place rapidly, though unevenly. The small bedroom tends to stay warmer than the bathrooms and master bedroom. For the price we paid, we felt that this was an excellent place to stay and in most respects exceeded our expectations!
