This lovely second floor guest apartment is original to this 1937 home, completely updated, overlooks the garden on the west side through the windows. it is above the garage so you are above no other inhabitants of the home. On the street side it includes a private deck to sit out on and drink coffee, or sip drinks in the evening and watch the world go by. The apartment is totally separate from the house, and includes a separate entrance. OF NOTE, THIS IS NOT A PLACE FOR VERY TALL GUESTS, AS IT HAS LOWER CEILINGS, though it is very light and airy. I would say if you are over 6 ft 3 you will be somewhat ducking to get through doorways. Guests are welcome to sit out in the garden seating areas and be able to eat on the back deck and enjoy the garden, even pick fresh herbs and other goodies when available! The Queen size bed is brand new and is a Sealy Posturpedic, a very comfortable bed! The bed inside the couch has a brand new mattress, a 5 inch memory foam and gel mattress and a comfy mattress top to boot! The kitchen includes all new and energy efficient appliances. Including a Cuisinart convection toaster oven a new microwave a new small refrigerator with a small freezer and a great upscale cast iron double hot plate. Counter tops are copper. There is a Kitchen Aid grill outdoors for your use. Includes Wifi and Comcast cable and is air conditioned with fans available to bring in the cool crisp Colorado night air if you prefer. This is a non smoking place. That means NO marijuanna (since it is legal) cigarettes, cigars and pipes and E-Cigarettes. No smoking anywhere around my property. PRICE INCLUDES 6.2 % COST OF TAXES FOR STATE/LOCAL AND 3% LODGING THAT ARE PAID
Well lit alley parking with your own space, through which you have access to the apartment and the garden areas. Your entrance is private, and your space is totally private. The garden areas are shared with the hose of the home. There are 2 people who live in the home

Other things to note
Why 34 due to the flood 4 years ago is once again closed for the autumn and winter and early spring. This adds about 15 minutes to Estes through Lyons, and is a beautiful drive as well. We are in the downtown, so be aware there are trains that goes by two blocks away. Many people like the train but if you are a light sleeper I have for you a beautiful light noise machine and earplugs. It usually only goes through once at night and many guests love the evocative sound of the train....but I have had one guest comment they did not. If you are here more than 5 days you can feel free to use the washer and dryer. If you need to use it otherwise of course it is added for a small fee. Water here is very precious and we ask that you use it wisely! Of course Extra linens and towels will be available. PRICE INCLUDES 6.2 % COST OF TAXES FOR STATE/LOCAL AND and 3% lodging tax that are paid
