This charming home and garden with It's original guest apartment upstairs has been on the Historic Home Tour, The Loveland Garden and Art Tour is walking distance to Historic Downtown rich with Breweries, shops and restaurants. Walk to Lake Loveland & The Big Thompson River. It is walking distance to Sprouts and Safeway. Short Driving distance to Benson Sculpture Park, Chapungu Sculpture park. 10 minutes from the mouth of the Big Thompson Canyon the "gateway" to Estes Park and RMNP.

The space

This lovely second floor guest apartment is original to this 1937 home, completely updated, overlooks the garden on the west side through the windows. it is above the garage so you are above no other inhabitants of the home. On the street side it includes a private deck to sit out on and drink coffee, or sip drinks in the evening and watch the world go by. The apartment is totally separate from the house, and includes a separate entrance. OF NOTE, THIS IS NOT A PLACE FOR VERY TALL GUESTS, AS IT HAS LOWER CEILINGS, though it is very light and airy. I would say if you are over 6 ft 3 you will be somewhat ducking to get through doorways. Guests are welcome to sit out in the garden seating areas and be able to eat on the back deck and enjoy the garden, even pick fresh herbs and other goodies when available! The Queen size bed is brand new and is a Sealy Posturpedic, a very comfortable bed! The bed inside the couch has a brand new mattress, a 5 inch memory foam and gel mattress and a comfy mattress top to boot! The kitchen includes all new and energy efficient appliances. Including a Cuisinart convection toaster oven a new microwave a new small refrigerator with a small freezer and a great upscale cast iron double hot plate. Counter tops are copper. There is a Kitchen Aid grill outdoors for your use. Includes Wifi and Comcast cable and is air conditioned with fans available to bring in the cool crisp Colorado night air if you prefer. This is a non smoking place. That means NO marijuanna (since it is legal) cigarettes, cigars and pipes and E-Cigarettes. No smoking anywhere around my property. PRICE INCLUDES 6.2 % COST OF TAXES FOR STATE/LOCAL AND 3% LODGING THAT ARE PAID

Guest access

Well lit alley parking with your own space, through which you have access to the apartment and the garden areas. Your entrance is private, and your space is totally private. The garden areas are shared with the hose of the home. There are 2 people who live in the home

Interaction with guests

Most days we will be able to be able to help you in case you have forgotten anything! We are here to make your stay as comfortable as possible! I am always available by Text.

Other things to note

Why 34 due to the flood 4 years ago is once again closed for the autumn and winter and early spring. This adds about 15 minutes to Estes through Lyons, and is a beautiful drive as well. We are in the downtown, so be aware there are trains that goes by two blocks away. Many people like the train but if you are a light sleeper I have for you a beautiful light noise machine and earplugs. It usually only goes through once at night and many guests love the evocative sound of the train....but I have had one guest comment they did not. If you are here more than 5 days you can feel free to use the washer and dryer. If you need to use it otherwise of course it is added for a small fee. Water here is very precious and we ask that you use it wisely! Of course Extra linens and towels will be available. PRICE INCLUDES 6.2 % COST OF TAXES FOR STATE/LOCAL AND and 3% lodging tax that are paid

This place was beautiful and peaceful. Coming from denver, we needed a break from the city and the serenity of Lynn’s home and garden and Loveland itself fit the bill exactly. The kitchen was functional and had everything we needed - plus I loved the copper countertops. The bed was very comfortable. The garden was a great place to relax. Lynn also has a large supply of books for everyone, from kids to young adults to a whole range of literature, which is great in case you forgot yours (like me; I got almost all the way through rereading 1989 ). Also, the house is as advertised: a few short blocks from downtown Loveland and easy to walk wherever you need to go. We enjoyed splitting our time between relaxing in the oasis of the guest house and garden and exploring the small downtown and its cute and kitschy shops and restaurants. I definitely will be back to Loveland and hope to stay at Lynn’s again.

Lynn’s home is wonderful! It’s very nice and quaint with a great collection of books on her self. I enjoyed staying at her place! She even had breakfast snacks and soy milk for us. Lynn is so sweet!

Lynn has a lovely home and garden. The guest house was a nice alternative to a hotel. We especially enjoyed the koi pond and the kitchen facilities. Loveland is an enjoyable town with lots of cultural and outdoor activities, breweries, restaurants, etc. and is close to many other Colorado attractions in neighboring towns. Lynn is a great communicator.

We enjoyed our stay at Lynn's place. She was very easy to communicate with and even left us treats upon arrival. I had asked her about some local restaurants and she was very helpful and detailed in giving us suggestions. She truly wanted us to enjoy our stay. The only hiccup we had was I didn't realize the ceiling in her place are rather low. My poor husband who is 6'5 had to duck through doorways and walk hunched over. It didn't take away from the stay but wanted to give a heads up to the other tall people out there.

Response from Lynn:
Carrie...Oh my gosh, I am so depressed that you had this experience! I would be more than happy to give you back half of your money! I am so sorry really, I have had tall folks in there, in fact my brother is 6ft5, he is the reason I got a queen size bed, but I guess he just never mentioned he was ducking! Yikes...I will amend my site right now and let me know how I can arrange to give you back some of your money!
