Great location100% of recent guests gave this home’s location a 5-star rating.

My place is close to (1)ski slopes (only 120 steps), (2)night shuttle bus stop (just in front of my house), (3)train staion (10 minute walk) and (4)hot spring (8 minute walk). You will enjoy a breath taking view of white rice field covered with snow, ski jump stadium of 1998 Nagano Olympic Games. Quiet, good for families (with kids) and big groups.

Great location - walking distance from Imori Goryu base (where the Hakuba Snow Sports school is located). Very practical house for up to 10-11 people - we were 2 families of 4 each, so perfect with the 4 bedrooms. Yukiko the host made sure the house was ready for us. Great heati…

in a nut shell, great location and waking distance to ski school. rather difficult owner and could be rude in her corresponding email if things were not the way she expected. if you are ok with that you will enjoy this place.

Response from Yukiko:
Airbnb is based on trust. Nazli’s behavior betrays this principle throughout the process. Here are tangible evidence: (1) She used a dummy named Ryan when she booked in July 2017. I reached an agreement on booking conditions with Ryan. She dismissed any agreement I reached with him except discounted rate. When she checked-in, in reply to my query about Ryan’s absence, she bluntly said: “it’s our family matter, none of your business!” (2) She brought many items belonging to the hotel she stayed on the eve of her arrival to my house such as slippers and even an electric kettle with the logo of TOBU Hotel Narita Airport. In decent countries this kind of act is called THEFT, a crime. (3) In Oct. 2017, she increased the guests’ number but did not pay the revised amount for more than one month. (4) She tried to pay this amount directly to me circumventing Airbnb. Already lost my trust on her, I insisted on her payment through Airbnb. (5) She kept changing the guests’ number until the last moment and requested refund. I could confirm the final number only when she arrived. (6) She did not inform me of her arrival plan even in the morning of her check-in day despite her promise. (7) She damaged several kitchen items and said she would compensate but she did not. Once I asked Airbnb involvement to settle her non-payment, her review on me arrived. (8) Nazli and her dummy’s favorite words were “more discount, more discount.” Her dummy pretended they were two doctors and two engineers. I learnt degrees and decency do not always go along. (9) Nazli asked Aribnb to suspend her whole accommodation payment to me by saying that she is victimized by discrimination. I advised my university students to learn by heart Barak Obama’s remarks: “No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin or his background or his religion. ” “People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love..." Nazli should learn how to gain trust from her future hosts by her own behavior and should not abuse her minority status to get financial benefits (=rejection of her due payment). I am also in a minority status (not Caucasian, not male, not Christian etc.) but I believe only through honest and decent acts I can gain someone else’s trust.

A Japanese of an international marriage. Spent many years in Europe. Joined Airbnb in 2013 and pleased to say that most guests were nice and use the house with care. I am a 5 star guest whereever I stayed. As a host I have had some guests leaving the house very messy. Alas such …
