Close to many area wineries. Walking distance to Pelee Island ferry (half a kilometer). Want something completely different? This is the place. It's almost like staying on a boat.

The lakehouse was quaint, cozy, clean and so perfect right on the water. Being from Vancouver it felt like I was on the ocean with the waves crashing. Perfect for some RnR!

The lake house was so great! Cozy and warm on our November stay and the view was so stunning! We met Steve and Natasha in the driveway one day and they were absolutely charming—you can tell they enjoy renting the lake house and care about providing a great space. We were on a weekend getaway seeking peace and quiet and we found it! Loved the area, too. Point Pelee park was beautiful and everywhere we ate had great food and drink! We would love to return someday!

Very unique and peaceful place. Nothing quite like water, sunrises, sunsets, moons and bonfires to de-stress. Perfect location. Very private. Amazing view!!

If you want or need tranquility and love the sound of water, then this is the place. We stayed for 3 nights and all we had to bring were groceries and clothes. Everything you could think of was provided. We never met the hosts but they were available if they were needed. The town of Kingsville is a very lovely and friendly place. Can't say anything bad about our stay.

Steve and Natasha, I booked the Lake House at rather short notice in an effort to achieve some much needed solitude. As I've gotten older, I've learned the importance of setting time aside for myself to disengage, recharge and rejuvenate my spirit. I couldn't have asked for a better environment to feed my soul then the Lake House. The weather of my first day here was absolutely terrible, cold, rainy, wet and windy. It was just kind of weather to force me to stay in the warm and comforting environment of the cottage. To the rythmic tune of waves crashing into the breakwall, I slept better than I have in years. From there on out, it was smooth sailing, beautiful blue skies, puffy white clouds, ladybugs, and Autumn's brilliant colours dotting the landscape. Without question, my time at the Lake House will have created, life long, enduring memories. Thank you both for your kindness and hospitality. There isn't a doubt in my mind, that one day soon, I'll return.

We wanted a break away without too much of a drive, and found Steve's lake house on Airbnb and it just seemed the right place for us. And it did not disappoint!!! Right on the water, but close to everything you need....we hiked to the tip of Point Pelee, took the ferry out to Pelee Is and rented bikes, stopped in for some wine tours, and headed out to Amherstberg for a beautiful ride and some history. And we spent a lot of time just relaxing and reading in the lake house, enjoying the peace and listening to the waves come into shore. Steve was so friendly and helpful!!! Great places to eat....Jack's gastropub, Grove, and the little coffee shop on the main street. If we are ever back in the area, we would stay here, without question. Thanks so much for your hospitality Steve!!
