My renovated cottage within 2 miles of town of Stornoway, situated in a crofting community. I also have Hebridean sheep and hens.
Clachanach Beag has panoramic views over the town, out into the Minch and the hills of the mainland. It is a cosy base to return to after a day exploring.
The cottage is suitable for couples, solo adventurers, cyclists, business travelers, and their furry friends (well behaved pets welcome).

The space
The cottage is a self contained unit consisting of bedroom, bathroom and kitchen/living/eating space and an easily accessible deck.
There is a mezzanine level accessed by a loft ladder and has limited head room. This space has a futon and extra bedding can be arranged.

Benside is a wonderful location as it is on one of the higher points and gives fantastic views of the surrounding country side. There are a variety of garden birds to see and hear in the garden.
