We had a wonderful time at Anna and Maurizio's place. Maurizio picked us up a at the train station when we arrived and offered great tips for our stay in Monterosso. The location was was about 20 to 25 minute walk (an enjoyable walk) from the city center. We walked during the day but at night I would recommend taking a taxi because of the darkness and narrow, winding roads. The taxi ride to the new town of Monterosso is 10 Euro. The view from the house down to the sea below is stunning! Maurizio was also quick to respond to any questions. We would stay here again.

This place was one of the greatest things we had in Cinque Terre, also the definite best place we've stayed so far. It's located on the mountain, right above the train station, beach, restaurants and everything. You have a great view of both the mountains and the sea which you can never get from other hotels and B&B in the town (having breakfast while seeing the nature is one best thing of this place). Although this means that you need to walk down 10 minutes to the town and walk up 15-20 minutes. A part of the mountain path doesn't have lights. You should get ready for walking up the hill in the dark at night. The room was very clean and comfy. We were offered fresh fruit, croissant, biscuit and jam as breakfast. We also had a coffee machine with coffee pods in the room. We had our own bathroom. You share the big terrace with guest(s) of one other room. Maurizio responded to my messages very quickly. He picked us up by car near the station of Monterosso. He gave us some useful tips about the area and transportation. All in all, I highly recommend this place to people who value the nature!

Just as advertised. Being first time Italy travellers we did not know what to expect. Mauricio's English is very good and he told us everything we need to know. The walk to town is beautiful, but is steep with lots of steps. We usually walked to town twice a day and back, but we got a taxi (just flag one down) back up the hill one night. The terrace has beautiful views and the hosts provided lots of cappuccino, packaged cookies and croissants, and fresh fruit at the start of the stay for light breakfasts. We recommend this place 100%!

Everything was as described, and Maurizio even offered to pick us up and drop us off at the train station. The room is a little small—better for a couple than friends—but you're not going to want to stay at the apartment long with everything that Cinque Terre has to offer. That said, the view is absolutely jaw-dropping and will cause you to linger over your coffee longer than you had planned :)

Anna & Maurizio's place is amazing. I was traveling alone, and was nervous about getting a place on Airbnb by myself, but Maurizio picked me up from the train and showed me around. Their place is quite a walk from the main part of old town, but completely worth the hike back up. The views from their terrace cannot be beat, and the walk to town only takes 10 minutes. Plus its a pleasant walk through the hills. The walk back up is quite steep, so when it was dark or raining, I took the local bus back which drops you off a block away. The house was split up into three apartments. The apartment I was in was perfect for what I needed. Comfortable bed, clean, and had all the amenities needed. You share an outside door with the apartment next to you, so you hear the other people coming and going, but it was never a problem for me. I would recommend their place to anyone going to the Cinque Terra. Thank you Anna and Maurizio for a wonderful trip!

Anna and Maurizio's place was pretty much as described. Maurizio picked us up at the train when we arrived and drove us up to the apartment which was very helpful. Small apartment but functional with a wonderful view from the terrace. Walk down to town was very scenic each day! Walk up was challenging but doable. We had to take a taxi back up for €10 the first couple of days due to rain in the evening but walked up the last night. One thing to note? We had an early train to catch our last day and the taxi charged us €25 euros for a pre 7:00am pick up. Just something to note if planning an early departure.

Anna's & Maurizio's place was super beautiful with a real view to the sea and all five villages! We arrived to Monterosso station and Maurizio picked us with his car which was really nice effort from him. Anna informed us very well before we came and also afterwards so we didnt have to worry about the check-in time etc. The room is tiny but tidy and provided with breakfast equipment. There is Dolce gusto machine as well. Room is modern and compact. Unfortunately it is not very sound-proof room. That is probably off from ur privacy. Wi-fi was slow so u could barely do necessary stuff with the phone. The location is ideal for the house cause u can walk along the path to the old town in 10 mins but the house is still in very quiet area. Keep in mind that the house is located on the mountain so it is quite heavy to walk uphill. This is regular Airbnb accomodation; there is no room service or anything u would expect from a hotel. The price was ok for us cause on the holidays the prices seems to be high. Every morning and night we sat on the terrace and enjoyed the views. Worth it! Thanks!
