The upside of this place are its location and the fact it has two comfortable beds.
The downsides are many and they are all related to a lack of thought given to the basic needs for a comfortable stay.
Our bedroom had no furniture with a flat surface to set down our glasses, our phones, or anything. There was a bed, a closet and a floor lamp. No dresser, bedside table, chair or anything. We had to put our books, phones, glasses, everything on the floor.
The wood floors squeak so bad that every time anyone woke up to use the bathroom everyone was awake. I'm not talking about a squeak here or there. I am talking about a symphony squeaks. Same with the bedroom doors. Just opening our door woke up our friends in the next room. The bedroom door also has the most bizarre handle that one has to turn a dozen times to get the door to stay closed.
Dark living room with one tiny bulb. Can't read in that room at night. There was a floor lamp in the living room, but the cord is too short to reach the plug.
Didn't matter because it didn't have a bulb anyway.
Only two steak knives in the kitchen. No larger or un-serrated knife to use. Also no cutting board. Try to chop vegetables with no cutting board and a serrated steak knife.
No good places to plug in. Our bedroom had one plug down by the door. Had to charge our phones on the floor.
The basic feeling here is that the folks who run this have not spent a night here, or walked through with an eye for what is required for basic comfort. I doubt the owners live the way they expect their guests to live in this apartment. It's likely their bedroom at home has surfaces to put things and ample plugs. I don't think they have only a steak knife and no cutting board in their kitchen.
This place was a disappointment because with just a day or two of thought and work this could be a nice place. I can't recommend this place in the condition it is in.
