I live right up the hill from the Washington Depot and there are numerous places to dine. Close to Steep Rock and plenty of hiking trails. Full kitchen, clawfoot tub, comfy queen bed, private entrance and terrace. I do not have a tv but I have a dvd player and screen and a selection of movies and tv shows. I have a small Oontz bluetooth speaker so you can listen to your own music or podcasts.
The good part is that the apartment is very private, in fact I may not even see you during your stay. The bad part is that I may not even see you during your stay! I like to meet the people that come visit but it doesn't always work out.
Interaction with guests
I am just upstairs and – though not always home – am always available via cell phone to answer any questions. I also have many local maps and guides inside the studio if you are not familiar with the area. It's a beautiful area with many things to do and see!
- There is coffee and tea in the kitchen and the fridge is available. Kitchen is not stocked for cooking anything elaborate but there are loads of places to eat very close by.
- There is an extra charge if there are more than 2 people. There is room for a portable crib or air mattress in the bedroom. Additional persons above age 12 would be $30 per night.
I am a graphic designer/art director and design lover. I love design in all forms: type, furniture, interiors, architecture etc. I have lived in CT for 15 years and before that lived in NYC, London, Italy, San Francisco and Santa Barbara.
I have lived in 5 different towns in my time in CT, so I know the area pretty well! Fall is my favorite season, winter is my least favorite... Grew up in southern CA and still crave the warmth and sunshine!
One of my favorite quotes:
Do or do not. There is no try.
