Coolest place we stayed in our 2 weeks in Scotland. The fire inside and the waterfall outside made it a great stay! Eigg has amazing dogs! :)

We were met by Dougal as Sue was away who was really helpful in showing us the little bothy. The bothy is definitely small, but perfectly equipped with an oven, plates and cutlery and rugs to keep us warm and within a stones throw of Eigg’s most beautiful beach- the best possible…

Phenomenal! The hospitality of Sue, Neil, Dougal, and assorted friends, neighbors, and pet animals were the cherry of top of our memorable visit to Cleadale Bothy on the Isle of Eigg. My wife, son, daughter and I will never forget our welcoming and oh so cozy stay on Eigg.

A great place for a few days of bothy living - on the cosy side of cosy for a family of 5 (3 kids aged 6, 4 and 2) but it's exactly as described so we were knew what we were coming to. Kids loved drinking from the nearby spring, playing with the dogs, seeing what the chickens had…

This is a beautiful place to stay. Peaceful and natural. Composting toilet but a flushing toilet and shower in the main house.
