The Farm While staying with us you can have free access to wander round our farm. There are a total of 250 acres for you to enjoy.
The Hereford trail runs through the land and there are a number of bridleways.
We would suggest that you enjoy a walk up to the top of the hill above the farmhouse on a clear day from here you will be able to see across to the Brecon Beacons and if you look carefully you will be able to make out the distinctive outline of Pen y Fan.
While walking around the farm you will come across some of the local wildlife. Pheasants are very common during the winter months. We also have a number of birds of prey, kestrel, red kite, buzzards and you will be able to hear the owls during the night.
We also have a large amount of deer in the local area and if you keep a sharp lookout you are likely to see some during your stay.
Closer to The Bringewood you will notice our ducks on the pond, please feel free to go down and visit them they particularly like it when you bring bread and lettuce to feed them. Sometimes they even waddle up here for a visit.
We have 20 ducks on the pond, they are friendly and enjoy guests feeding them bread and lettuce.
As we are a working farm we also have a large number of sheep grazing on our fields. Please ensure that you follow the countryside code when you are enjoying your time here and please help us protect this beautiful area for the future.
