The space
The tiny house can accommodate up to five overnight guests, and is suitable for couples, small groups and families. A large loft with double bed, a small loft with single bed, and two bunk beds. Single bathroom, gas water heater, and Cinderella composting toilet.
Simple, but pleasant interior with a focus on nature and tranquility. There is no electricity or water, but a water tank and water pump provide water in the spring inside. It is not drinking water, as water is sourced from nearby rivers. Power is available via battery, which provides power for lights, charging of mobile and smaller power-consuming appliances. There will be simple instructions for using electricity and water in the mini-house.

Here you can wake up to birdsong, enjoy your morning coffee with a view of the fjord and end the day in front of the wood-burning stove after a trip to the mountains. If you like fishing, the nearby fjord offers excellent fishing opportunities.
The mini-house is located on Dalsvegen in Ytre Matre, about 25 km from Rosendal and about 5 km from the Matre ferry terminal. Peaceful surroundings with great views of the mountains and fjords. Good fishing opportunities in the fjord.
Many great hiking opportunities in the area, and about 15 km to Fjellhaugen ski resort.

The water tank is located under the tiny home and needs to be filled using a hose from the nearby river, which is easily accessible. It is not drinking water, as the water is sourced from a nearby river.
Power is available via a battery, which supplies electricity for lighting, charging cell phones, and operating small, low-power appliances. Please turn off the light when not in use to prevent the battery from draining unnecessarily. Under normal use, the battery lasts 2–3 days. If it is necessary to charge the battery during the stay, the host will do so using a generator. There will be simple instructions for using electricity and water in the mini-house.

- Gas water heater that provides hot water for the bathroom and kitchen. The water tank is located right outside the tiny home and can be filled using a hose from a nearby river. During the winter, an indoor water tank is used to prevent the water from freezing.
