Summer Breeze Caravan, Skinners Farm is close to Parkhurst Forest and Thorness Bay on a working beef and arable farm, and in easy reach of all the Isle of Wight attractions. It's just a short drive from Cowes or Newport. It's located at the end of a 400 metre track and the three holiday caravans are in a field adjoining the farm. You’ll love my place because of the peace and quiet and views over the fields but also being in easy access to the whole Isle of Wight.
Enjoy the peace and quiet and unique sunsets across the fields. We can arrange for tours of the farm and you'll see the chickens, calves, machinery and 100 head beef herd
Other things to note
Please note that although the caravan sleeps 8 it is only suitable for a maximum of 6 adults and 2 children..... or 7 adults. There are one double and 4 single beds and a pullout sofa. The pullout sofa can only accommodate one adult or two small children.

- We hope you will enjoy your stay at Skinners Farm, however we need to remind you that farms can be dangerous places. The information provided in this document is designed to ensure your safety and that of all other visitors. Please read it carefully and ensure you share the information with all members of your party. Skinners is a working beef and arable farm. Tractors and other farm machinery can be expected to be moving around the farm at any time. We keep a herd of 150 beef cattle from young calves to age 2 years. There may be contractors, hauliers and other private vehicles on site at any time. You must stay within designated areas of the farm. There are signs that indicate areas that are out of bounds. You should also take note of information provided that is specific to the time of your stay. Children must be supervised at all times and should not be allowed out of the immediate vicinity of your caravan. However please ensure your children do not play under the caravans or near to the gas cylinders supplying your hot water. We are very happy to show you the cattle, chickens and other parts of the farm but this must be by prior arrangement. We will do our best to accommodate you but please bear in mind that it may not be possible due to work commitments Please park your car in the space designated for your caravan. Please drive carefully and slowly around the site and along the lane. You are advised to wash your hands after touching any animals and to ensure children do the same There are areas of the farm where barbed wire is in use. You should not attempt to climb through or over barbed wire fences and you should keep children away at all times. There are open troughs of water around the farm for animals to drink from. Children should not be allowed near them Please ensure all gates are left as you find them. If you find the gate at the end of the lane to the road closed, please ensure it is closed behind you. This gate is always closed at night Fire safety Smoking is not permitted in the caravans or around the farm. If you must smoke please do so on the hard surface outside your caravan and ensure your cigarette is extinguished safely. During the summer, there is a high risk with fire with standing crops and stubble fields. Please do not light fires anywhere on the farm. Please speak to us before lighting a BBQ. In the event of a fire there are fire extinguishers found in each caravan. Only attempt to extinguish the fire if it is safe to do so. Please take note of the following conditions of your stay. 1. This document should be read in conjunction with the Health and Safety information. If you have not received the health and safety sheet, please let us know immediately. 2. You must comply with everything stated in the health and safety sheet 3. Dogs and other pets are not permitted 4. Check in time is after 4 pm. Please come to the farmhouse. Please do not arrive before 4pm as we will not have time to prepare your caravan. If possible please email us with your ferry times and expected time of arrival so that we can be sure someone is available to greet you. 5. On arrival please check your caravan. If there are any breakages or queries, please let us know immediately 6. Check out time is before 10 am. 7. Gas and electricity use is metered and meters will be read on the morning of your departure. Payment should be made in cash or by cheque before departure. 8. If your planned departure is before 8 am, please make sure we are aware of this the night before 9. Bed linen and towels are hired at £25 per week. You should arrange for us to provide this at time of booking. 10. You will be charged for breakages and/or damage caused during your stay.
